Not a dedicated gluten free environment as advertised. The sign that says gluten free is in the middle of the food, so it seems like it's all gluten free. When you ask, they clarify on a small portion of items are gluten free. This is just a crappy continental breakfast. Most breakfast items here have gluten in them. Whoever wrote they have great gluten free french toast is definitely wrong. All their pastries are gluten. They do have gluten free bread upon request, but as a continental breakfast, they are not making anything from a menu for you.

I had and really enjoyed the GF delicious French Toast for our late breakfast. My nonGF husband enjoyed his eggs and toast. We then visited the nearby Manga Museum. An excellent morning. We have been touring in Japan for 4 weeks. Not easy finding good food options which are GF. The cafe was quiet and relaxing with good service. Note it is located within the Park Hotel, Kyoto.

This is advertised as a dedicated gluten free cafe, however they must be unaware that there is gluten in barley. The lunch and dinner menu includes multiple options that contain barley, but are listed as gluten free! To be safe, I ordered a curry that did not mention barley in its description, but even this came with rice mixed with barley. I’m sure that some items on the menu are 100% gluten free but this cafe is very risky if you are celiac as you can’t actually be sure what contains gluten and what doesn’t. The fact that they don’t know that barley contains gluten is concerning. The cafe is only ‘wheat free’ but not gluten free!

Nice and relaxing cafe with whole gluten free menu. Would recommend the French toast. Cookies were rather disappointing.

Staff are knowledgeable about gluten free foods. They have set items that are gf but can adjust others to accommodate gf.
We had pasta millet noodles, one as a tomato based soup and I had the traditional daikon. AMAZING!
Highly recommend!

A restaurant in the lobby of the Park Hotel with a large selection of gluten-free meals and desserts. Ordered the afternoon tea set for two (completely gluten-free!) and it came with a tower of tea snacks and a drink of your choice each. They still were doing Christmas pastries so it came with two kinds of stollen.
