Quite busy even on a cold Sunday night. I'd say about half the menu is GF: all the rice bowls, half the onigiri, half the sides, and none of the udon. Dessert menu was new and unmarked, so I didn't get to try anything unfortunately. They confirmed they have a separate GF fryer.
I ordered a 3pc side of karaage (fried chicken) and a yuzu salmon onigiri. Tasted good enough, though next time I'd ask for the chicken sauce on the side. Most important thing is I didn't get sick.
Update : Quiet lil sushi place in South Mpls, with a cute patio too ;) Items clearly marked inside, and online. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about GF. Tons and tons of options sushi and onigiri were amazing! Cool to see mochi, noodles, and unique Japanese snacks! Overall amazing !
Lots of GF items on the menu. I loved the onigiri (filled rice balls), and my kids both enjoyed the kids combo. Next time I will try the GF fried chicken (tori karaage)!
Updated: Confirmed with Okome that they have a dedicated fryer (that is, no gluten goes in the fryer with gluten free menu items)
Most everything is gluten-free and clearly labeled. The karaage is fantastic. Everything our family has tried has been wonderful. There is also a gf kids menu. My picky eater loves it.
