Old Salt Restaurant & Oyster Bar

not a dedicated fryer!!!!!!

The is a small and cute restaurant and bar. There was live acoustic music. Nice friendly staff. Owner knowledgeable. Menu items marked. Only a few options but I got the homemade fries and peel and eat shrimp that were yummy. The have 2 homemade dipping sauces for fries that are good. The best part for me was the dessert a chocolate torte!! I dined with 3 non gluten free diners and they enjoyed their fried seafood as well .

Gluten free fries were delicious! Limited gluten free lunch menu. But they made grilled mahi mahi without the wrap. Lots of options on the dinner menu.

This little gem of a restaurant is not to be missed. Gluten free items are clearly marked on the menu. French fries are made there, not frozen & GOOD. l have sensitivities, my hubby doesn't & we both were happy eating here. WE RECOMMEND!!

The food was fabulous! They do have a dedicated GF fryer. 3 of us in our family are GF & CF and no one got sick:) the staff was very courteous. Highly recommend

All of the food I have tried is fabulous! All of the gluten free items are labeled on the menu. They have the best fries that are done in a separate fryer. I have eaten here a lot and never gotten sick. This is my family's favorite restaurant in the Beaufort area!
