DO NOT EAT HERE! Waitress seemed to scoff at my request to denote an allergy and inform kitchen staff, so I asked to speak to a manager. A kitchen employee (I assume a manager) came out and I asked them to take precautions and wash the GF utensils. He said they would. A couple hours later the symptoms hit: this is the worst glutening I have had in a long time--this is full range of symptoms. Much more than a bit of flour dust settled on my plate. We called to inform the manager that it seemed the staff had blatantly disregarded my food allergy. She said that policy for a gluten free order is to inform a house manager, who then comes to the table, oversees the cooking, and brings plate out his or herself. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN, nor has it ever happened at an Olive Garden. Not safe and total discrimination against my illness by the waitress.
No
My experience tonight at Olive Garden was excellent. The waitress was knowledgeable about my options. Then the manager came over and acknowledged that I had requested for gluten-free options and insured me that they would change gloves to maximize safety. Then a third person came over to serve food and he pointed out that it was gluten-free and that they changed their gloves when making my food. I don't have allergies, but I am sensitive to gluten. I don't know if it would be safe for celiac, but it was safe for me.

I have eaten here twice and both times it was great! The servers are knowledgeable and their menu has everything labeled well so you can see what you have to choose from! They also instantly knew and aknowledged no croutons on the salad as soon as I mentioned a gluten allergy. I do wish they had more sauce options than what was listed.
