The "cooks" in the kitchen insisted that the whole wheat pasta was gluten free. I had to explain to the waitress that it was not and she insisted that the kitchen said it was. I again told her it wasn't it. Finally the manger came over and she apologized, made sure my meal was safe. Over all though I do not trust the Olive Garden.
They do not understand how to cook gluten free pasta. I have been there twice and each time my pasta is hard as a rock and tastes disgusting. I will NEVER go back to any Olive Garden again until they are more knowledgable on how to cook gf items.
Having CD I specifically asked the server if they had a GF menu. Bc he didn't know he went to ask & returned with a very disappointing response ...the head chef says no, we do not! I was with friends & we were celebrating someone's BD, so this was very awkward to say the least. So I ordered a salad wo croutons. When I inquired abt GF salad dressing, again... They had no knowledge if their SD was GF. Plain salad, no dressing for me! It wasn't until we were almost ready to leave that a manager came to see if our dining experience was enjoyable. When I explained my frustration, he apologized & explained that I had been misinformed. He even offered to store my personal SD in the kitchen next time I visited so I would always have a nice salad. This experience was very awkward & frustrating. I will not be back.
You have to be careful here. You must be diluent and ask several questions. They will serve salad witout croutons, you can get them on the side. No bread, but soup Tuscana and is gf and delicious.

I just went to Olive Garden, stated my allergy, and then ordered Gluten Free pasta option they have, if I dont remember wrong it was Gluten Free Rotini with meat sauce. I didn’t get any reaction, (I usually get respiratory and skin reaction to gluten) and it was absolutely delicious!!!

I have eaten here twice and both times it was great! The servers are knowledgeable and their menu has everything labeled well so you can see what you have to choose from! They also instantly knew and aknowledged no croutons on the salad as soon as I mentioned a gluten allergy. I do wish they had more sauce options than what was listed.

I have celiac and have never had symptoms from eating there. The selections are limited for gluten free., but are getting better. I met girl friends there for lunch once. They didn't have some of the items I asked for, so I ordered substitutions. The other girls had $5-$6 lunches while I was charged $26!.

Got the GF rotini, had no reaction, the two times we’ve eaten there. Overall a good experience.
