Great options on a dedicated gluten free menu. Staff needs to be more knowledgeable as I've had issues with my meal each time.

HORRIBLE!!! Host was clueless & gave us a Brail menu, manager doesn't have any idea what GF is! Actually told us we'd be better off going elsewhere! The GF menu is provided by "cooperate" and is wrong! Very contradictory, manager just made excuses about why he couldn't help us. Plain awful!!! Don't go here!

Love their menu but I was shocked their chips are not GF like the OTB chips in the store are.

Server asked if it was real or fake allergy, and joked about how she would bring out flour shells to see if people were telling the truth. Sure enough... we got sick. Our server obviously didn’t take the allergy seriously and was not trained properly

I asked both our waitress and the manager before ordering and was assured that the tacos were with white corn, not flour. I have been so sick; after deeper research they don’t even have that option so they have my flour ones and lied to me after I asked again to confirm. They are not aware of the allergies or issues and obviously don’t care enough about their customers to validate. If I could give ZERO starts I would! Stay clear for your health’s sake!

I had the grilled shrimp tacos, black beans, and rice. I’ve also tried the fish tacos before. If only their chips were safe ☹️ if you have gf salsa & some entrees and sides - why not buy a bag of Santitas to have on hand for people that are Celiac or gluten intolerant 🤔

Very good food, but you have to be very careful about how you order it. I would always order the build your own chicken tacos off the gluten free menu. I kept getting sick eating there and couldn’t figure out what was causing it. Someone finally told me that the taco shells are fried in the same oil as the other shells (that of which contain gluten). I would say it’s unsafe for someone with an allergy because the waiter doesn’t ask if it’s an allergy.

Asked if the corn tortillas were prepared in a separate area than their flour tortillas and they said yes. I had issues before with their chips. So I used the corn tortillas in lieu of chips. Now paying for it.

Absolutely terrible experience here. I'd like to start by saying I'm not the type of person who ever leaves bad reviews for restaurants. Ever. I've been a diagnosed celiac for 14 years and have worked in the food industry for a long time. I try to be very patient and understand that restaurants can not always accommodate celiacs. However, if you require a GF diet DO NOT GO HERE. Spark notes version: If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The staff do not understand what gluten free means at all. The worst service I have ever had in my life-- truly appalling. Again, as someone who worked as a waitress for years (through college and grad school), I never complain about service at restaurants. But this was unlike any experience I've ever had-- it was awful. Long version: I came here for a friend's birthday dinner. I informed my server that I had celiac disease. I also explained it as a severe gluten allergy since people don't always understand when you just say you have celiac (Side note: I'm the type of person who apologizes to waiters for having dietary restrictions bc I know it can be a pain in the ass and I feel bad about inconveniencing them, but I just don't want to die. I'm not the annoying GF entitled type at all). Anyways, they seemed confident that they could accommodate me...until my food came out. I had ordered the fish tacos. A non-GF friend ordered a similar dish. The server came out with both taco plates and asked who got them (we had a large group). I asked which dish was the GF one, to which she was visibly unsure and guessed that both were GF. I asked politely if she could double check again saying it was a very severe dietary restriction-- hey, accidents happen, not a big deal at this point. But then I watched her go ~5 ft away to a different server to consult. Both were clearly confused/unsure (actually shrugging) and I heard them guess which one was GF but both clearly had no clue. She came back and tried to give me the plate that I had just watched/heard them randomly select. Again, I calmly explained to her that I have celiac disease (again also explaining that she could think of it like a severe gluten allergy if that made more sense to her so in a similar way to how those w/ a severe peanut or shellfish allergy can't have any cross contamination, neither can I-- overly simplistic but seemed to make sense to her). She leaves and gets the manager. I nicely explain my situation to manager. Manager brings back the "GF" menu to help me find something. I won't get into all of the details but she was a complete jackass, treating me like a moron and belittling me. Basically talked down to me as if I didn't understand my own disease. Said that most people with celiac can handle cross contamination. Tried to tell me that dairy and soy were made of gluten (and no, not soy sauce, just regular "soy")-- when I tried to correct her, she said I was wrong, laughing at me like I was a 5-year old saying the sky was green. At that point, I was so disappointed and humiliated, and so furious with her that I cut her off and told her I didn't want a damn thing from them. Despicable service and treatment overall, but especially by the manager. She never apologized. Her incompetence was astonishing. Non-GF friends agreed their food was shitty anyways so I clearly didn't miss out on much. Paid for my drink, left, and will never go back. Despite the length of this post, I left out many additional examples of why this restaurant/service sucked so much. Just trust me when I say do not go here.

The staff was helpful and there is a gluten free menu with at least one item from each section. It’s not an extensive GF menu but there are choices. The food was tasty and I enjoyed tomatillo chicken tinga enchiladas. I had mine served with the black beans. There is no dedicated fryer so the chips are not GF. If the enchiladas had come as a platter with rice and beans instead of only one side, and the chips were GF, I would have given a higher rating.

The kitchen manager, Eduardo, was such a big help. He grilled my onions fresh with oil and no soy sauce for the fajitas and warmed me about the butter in the rice due to my dairy allergy, etc. Such a great experience compared to my usual eating out ordeal of trying to navigate multiple food allergies.

Manager was very friendly and explained all the menu options to me. There is no dedicated fryer so chips we're out, but he was clear that the grill would be cleaned before my food was cooked and that all precautions would be taken to avoid cross contamination. I did not get sick, so I was very pleased, as I almost always get cross-contaminated at Mexican restaurants.

It didn't start great but we left very satisfied with our meal. First, their chips are made in a shared fryer, so no chips if you are celiac/intolerant. That's a bummer. We were given gluten free menus but unfortunately the GF menu was out of date which we only determined after struggling for a while. Our server got the kitchen manager who explained our choices as well as how we could make some modifications which would better suit our young son's preferences. The food was excellent. Would have given 5 stars if the menu was current and safe chip option.

I'm giving 4 out of 5 since the chips are fried in a common fryer. If you can say no to the chips, the food is really good, prices are reasonable, and the staff (that I've encountered) have been very accommodating. We have been to this location a lot (prob, once a month for years), and have had parties catered by them. All of our family experiences here have been fantastic.

We ate here one time and I had stressed the need for gluten free. The waitress began by telling me the chips were gluten free (which I knew was not correct because they're fried in the same oil with gluten containing foods). Then she brought out flour tortillas for my food.... And tried to tell me that the rest of the food was fine and they didn't need to remake it. At which point I insisted they did remake it since the tortillas had been on the plate. Overall they were not knowledgeable of gluten free or celiac. I would not eat here.

I went for lunch and the chef's wife has Celiac. My meal was so fresh and completely GF!! Corn tortillas were microwaved on a clean plate, gloves changed, clean utensils used and fresh sides not contaminated with gluten utensils or hands. Best part was no eye rolls or exaggerated exhalations when I said I needed gluten precautions.

Not at all impressed with this place. When I was unintentionally glutened by the chips (not GF!), the waitress was completely unapologetic.
