I’ve always had good experiences here, but I do always get the hummus plates and gluten-free pita + sides, and haven’t risked the sandwiches and skewers and such. Staff is generally knowledgeable. Only bad experience I had was someone grabbing my gluten-free pita right after a regular one, but since then they’ve started pre-wrapping the gluten-free ones in plastic so that’s no longer a risk.

Sunday afternoon stopped in. The GM from the Palo Alto location was there and assured of protocols to avoid cross contamination. Had the gf pita, hummus bowl with grilled chicken, bread pudding. Was delicious and safe! Recommended. Perhaps make sure to talk with a manager, considering previous reviews.

Sadly, I got glutened here!!! The person at the front didn’t know what Celiac was (should have been my first clue). She did tell the person in the kitchen to treat it like a gluten allergy, but I’m not sure how well informed they are. I ate the chicken with rice and sweet potato fries, all labeled gluten free

FANTASTIC gluten free experience. 95% of the menu is gluten free/gf option. They have really good, thick GF pita which was a special find. They put my gf pita in a separate basket from the regular pita that my parents got.

I ate here twice on a recent trip to Mountain View and had an excellent experience, no noticeable gluten symptoms either time. I emailed first and got a really comprehensive response about their dedicated gluten free fryer and oven, glove changing policy, etc, and my servers confirmed the precautions they take when I was there. I had them note my celiac on my ticket, and both times I ordered the gluten free pita (which was amazing) with no issues. They do have wheat pita on the menu but seem to be really cautious about preventing cross contact as much as possible. Overall, after I gave them a heads up about my restrictions, I had a really great experience and delicious food!

The Palo Alto location has never made me sick. Amazing staff!

Excellent gluten free pita sandwiches
GF pita and hummus with meat was absolutely delicious and Celtic safe. My husband tried another dish which also was great. The major bummer was the wait for them to cook the Gf pita so make sure to order enough when you initially place your order!

Love the GF pita bread. Tasty GF desert options too.

I have never been sick here and love that they cook the packaged gluten-free pita separately. I just wish the food was not so oily.

Absolutely delicious menu and the gluten free pitas truly are. I am very sensitive and have never been ill from any pita sandwiches or sides.

Really good food and my very sensitive daughter who has celiac didn't get sick. Two different staff members told us the fryers are dedicated to each item that is fried in the oil. When walking by the kitchen it looked like there were at least 3 different fryers. My daughter had the 3 sides meal with falafels (which she loved), hummus and 2 GF pitas which were really good and the pickles and olives side which none of us liked. My husband and I had chicken pita sandwiches and they were really good. We will definitely be going back. My suggestion is to order the tahini sauce on the side if ordering falafels...especially if ordering for kids.

Great gf options- had hummus w veggies, chicken skewer, falafel, fries, apple pastry desert and chocolate mousse. Will be back.
At least 75% of the items on the menu are gluten free!!! They give you veggies to dip and have amazing gluten free food! They even have gluten free dessert. You can't go wrong here. I was surprised this restaurant was not on this app already. Try it out and you'll want to go back again.

Beware - I was glutened here. I ordered a chicken pita (with a gf pita), but realized while eating there was falafel in the meal. I told the staff, and asked if they had given me the correct pita. They realized it was a wheat pita.
The management was very apologetic, but I’d already eaten some of the wheat pita. They refunded me and remade it. Not likely to eat here again.

We were there on Friday for a late lunch. I am a celiac and they went over and above to make sure all my food was gf. We will definitely be going back because the food was delicious!
