OTB Bicycle Cafe at Hastings

Lots of gluten free options, but poor on the details. GF options marked and GF bun available. We frequent this place and enjoy the food, atmosphere and convenience to our house. However, I ordered a gluten free bun for my burger tonight and received a regular bun. I didn’t notice until I had already taken a few bites out of it. Thankfully I’m not celiac, but this was a big whoopsie.

Staff/management incompetent when it comes to gluten free. Each time we go, new things aren’t marked gluten free from time prior (issues from patrons that were brought up to them). Chicken wings were marked GF, later to find out that all the fryers are shared and oil is recycled. Also, steak bowl marked gluten free later to find out the steak has soy sauce marinade from manufacturer with gluten in it. Seems like ownership/management is 5 steps behind on these issues and should not be advertising as gluten free.

Would not recommend.
