We ate at this particular location a few months back and somewhere along the line, I consumed gluten, as evidenced by my quick body response. We went back a week or so ago and I had my staple (Alice Springs chicken) and an alcoholic beverage (of which I did copious phone/Internet research because I'm one of those that can't have distilled beverages if the starting grain is gluten-containing). I'm happy to say I was not cross-contaminated this visit and our waitress took excellent care of me. Outback is almost always a safe place for me to eat and instances of contamination are very few for me. If I'd gotten sick a second time here, I probably wouldn't go back.
