I went because of the great reviews online. The cashier said that they would take precautions but then the cook came out and said that they wouldn’t even clean the cutting board to make sure it was safe. I ended up with no food and just had a smoothie

Gluten free bread option made my dream BLT&E a reality! The owner added a sliced hard boiled egg, basil pesto, and avocado aoili at my request and I was happy to pay the add on fees 😋! The fruit smoothie and ice cream smoothie choices make decisions difficult so look ahead on line and order before you arrive if you can, especially at peak beach seasons!😉 There's also a Duck location that opens during the summer.

The owner was training new staff and stepped in to help. They offer gf bread for some of their items. All three of us had no problems.

Average. I got a veggie sandwich and a latte, my partner got toast with lox and a coffee.
Veggie sandwich was good. I was given the hull of the bread, which was odd- and a little off putting. I’ll chalk it up to it being the last of the bread, but I wish they would’ve let me know so I could have opted for a salad. Sandwich was 7.99+ 2.00 for the gf bread- a little steep, very steep considering sandwiches do not come with a side.
My partner got the lox on gluten free toast. He said it was nothing special. It was also 7.99+ 2.00 for the gluten free bread.
My latte was too hot. Like burn your taste buds away hot. My partner said the coffee was good!
Overall I’d go back for a coffee, a salad, or a smoothie, but if I’m craving a sandwich I’d go somewhere else.
They did let us know that the toaster and the panini are shared spaces and to proceed with caution.

Went here for breakfast and had salmon capers cream cheese on udis bread. Sooooo yum. Delicious fresh squeezed oj and plan to return tomorrow for lunch. Kind, generous people working there, no wait, nothing pretentious or touristy. So refreshing.
The server understood cross contamination and therefore told me it is not safe for me to eat here. The toaster, knifes and stove top are all contaminated. I got a smoothie though, which was good.

We had a variety of items; Mediterranean salad,Turkish Breakfast, Tomato Basil Salad, Tomato Basil Sandwich, Captain and The Killer smoothies. We tried to get sandwich gluten free however they only had 1 end piece left (still got it to munch on). Atmosphere, Staff and Food was marvelous! We will be back.

We are not celiac, but have several family members with severe gluten and/or dairy sensitivity. It can be so hard to find a place to eat! The Outer Bean was not only knowledgeable, but we had lots of choices and they make great tasting foods. Will definitely be back.

We found this cafe on our way home from vacation and what a pleasant surprise it was! I had an amazing GF turkey, spinach and cheese wrap with black bean paste that was outstanding. Hubby loved his non-gf panini.
Delicious juice and fruit smoothies, salads, and lots of vegan & vegetarian options. Great choice!
