made a pit stop in los gatos on a road trip recently and found this spot really difficult to find. the address on google maps is no longer correct and the address listed on their instagram is in a parking lot. it seemed to be closed anyways, maybe due to the holidays, but their closure wasnt listed on their website or social media. saw another couple try to find it as well and they also walked away empty handed.
Their address wasn’t updated in Google maps so it took a little bit to find the place but I was happy I did. I’m gluten-free and dairy free and they only had one vegan option which was a loaf of white bread that was so good I felt like I died and went to heaven. At $18 a loaf it was, quite pricey, but to be able to have warm delicious bread it was worth it every once in a while. I didn’t give it five stars because they only had one vegan option and it was very expensive. Otherwise I recommend this place!
What a cute place with incredible GF baked goods. allergens are listed, and if you have a particular allergen that wasn’t listed, they were willing to answer questions without judgment . I think thats important. They are moving locations soon to now be inside Polenteria, the owners dedicated GF restaurant which is down the street from Oy’s current location. Will def go back. Try the foccacia bread!!!
Nourishing salads (chicken salad is a standout) and soups (just starting to stock these). And of course, yummy baked goods including savory English muffins, bagels and breads. My go-to for all things gluten free.
It’s delicious but the selection of goods can vary based on when you come. I’m always hunting for their brioche donuts. Seriously amazing donuts! I’ve been a handful of times and only seen them once. Just wish they had more consistency of offerings! (They are great for ordering pies on holidays! Some of the best pies I’ve ever had!)
Went there on a Saturday morning for breakfast and got Bundt cakes, zucchini bread, banana bread, and a focaccia loaf. The focaccia is unbelievably fluffy and soft, you couldn’t tell it is gluten free. The chocolate and toffee bundt cake was our favorite and we will definitely be back, an excellent GF find in the Bay Area.
I tried this bakery when it first opened. There was no posted information about the ingredients and the staff did not seem well informed. Since the bakery has "gluten free" in the name, I felt like it must be safe so I ordered a muffin. It was good - but I got VERY sick after eating about half of it. I'm celiac and there was nothing else that could have given me that reaction. I'm very careful and this was the first time I have been glutened in years. I tested the remaining half of the muffin with my nima sensor and it tested positive for gluten. This was a terrible experience for me and I am so upset an establishment with "gluten free" in their name would be so careless. I definitely wouldn't recommend eating here if you have celiac disease.
The service felt off. I thought there was a strange vibe and I felt unwelcome. I tried a cinnamon roll. It was just ok, and not something I would buy again. I don't recall what my husband ordered, but it was also just so-so. The selection seemed rather limited.
We were stuck in traffic for quite a bit of time trying to get there, so maybe I was in a foul mood and that affected my experience.
I’m glad to have a gf bakery in the South Bay again - so Thank You Oy! That being said, the quality of the baked goods isn’t stellar. The cinnamon rolls are like cardboard. The bread is ok. I really miss Patti’s in Morgan Hill… she had it down!
Just opened completely gluten free bakery! I went in and tried a bit of everything. They have cookies, English muffins, scones, muffins, and breads that seem to be their regular items as well as special items depending on the day. Everything was delicious! My family’s favorites were the pumpkin bread, almond scone, brookie, and berry cobbler. Will be back again very soon. Current hours are wed-sat
