The menu is not labeled but the staff have knowledge as to what is GF or not. All the catch fish plates are GF. I got grilled Maui Maui with home potatoes (which were seasoned to perfection) and my partner got garlic sautéed Ono. It was all very tasty, big portion too! Apparently the line cam be quiet long sometimes but it moves quickly.

We had the shrimp and fish tacos. Yummy and huge portions. The server told us most of the menu was GF but to avoid anything from the fryer.

Could have most dishes except for fries and fried foods as they don't have a dedicated frier. The fresh catch with Cajun rice and cole slaw were great, no reaction. No gluten free dessert options.

Great fish! I had the catch of the day (grouper!!) with the Cajun seasoning with potato’s and rice. It was super yummy and my mother (also has celiac) has the fish tacos. FYI - The fries are fried in a common fryer. The line looks long, but it moves fast.

Friendly service. They all seemed trained on what Celiac is and how to deal with it. The fresh catch is gluten-free. The French fries don't have a dedicated fryer so they aren't safe, but the rice and potatoes are both safe. Can also have fish tacos on corn tortilla, but I got the fresh catch. Pretty yummy!

We were in Hawaii last week, and when looking for places to eat with GF options, this one came up on this site. They have a lot of options for GF, but I didn't see a separate menu. The person at the order counter knew what was safe and what wasn't. I had the fish of the day plate, snapper w Cajun seasoning with home potatoes (haven't been able to have these since going GF) and rice. Everything was delicious and I have zero regrets eating here.
We wanted to go back again, but the timing didn't work out. Note that it gets pretty busy after 6pm, so if you're up for an early dinner, 5pm is a much shorter line. Worth the wait!

This place rocks! Almost everything on the menu is gluten free. You order at the counter and they serve you at your table. I had grilled mahi mahi and it was one of the best I’ve ever had!

Enjoyed dinner tonight at Paia. I enjoyed the mahi mahi sautéed with butter wine garlic and lemon with rice and potatoes. The portion size was fairly large and extremely delicious. The waitress was extremely helpful and assured me that they are very cautious with everything.

I’m a very sensitive celiac, and I ate here for dinner with no issues! The girl who took my order was super knowledgeable and even was able to list out ingredients for me unprompted to make sure I felt comfortable with it. I got the mahi mahi Cajun style with rice and potatoes, and it was so fresh and delicious.

Went last night and got the mahi mahi sautéed with 1/2 rice and 1/2 potatoes. After the first bite I had to take a picture to share. It was so good! The fish was perfect, and even better when eaten with the slaw that was under it. Rice and potatoes were good too. I definitely recommend this place and I hope that we have a chance to eat here again.

Menu isn’t marked, but staff was knowledgeable about what was gluten free and what was a cross contamination risk. I had the fish tacos, which were an 8 out of 10 (the salsa could be better).

I had the fish taco plate. It was wonderful! The plates have a lot more food than expected. Next time, I would get the lunch portion. The only side not celiac-quality gluten free is the French fries as it’s a common frier. The cashier was very knowledgeable, though. I would definitely eat here again.

Called and spoke with the owner or chef. He was very informative and said most of the items were naturally gf. He also said that he does not recommend celic persons to eat here because of the chance for CC (cast iron skillets, etc) but many gluten intolerant people eat here no problem and has regulars.
