One of the owners is Celiac himself.. talked to him at length about our mutual food issues and CC. I've ordered take out from there a few times and had no problems and the best part- the food is DELISH!! They even have an entire GF dessert freezer to choose something from!! It is my new favorite spot.

I am a celiac and rarely go out to eat for fear of gluten exposure. My husband and I visit Palermo's for the first time last night and had a fantastic and relaxed experience. What I loved and appreciated: 1. An entirely separate rather large gluten free menu. No wondering, no asking the waitress to make this gf. 2. GF toothpick signs n the food, I'm thinking to ensure the servers do not mix dishes up. That was comforting. 3. Fried breaded artichoke app was amazing 4. Cheesesteak roll was same size as regular rolls and tasted pretty good. Gf rolls and bread are usually so small 5. Prices were very reasonable 6. I felt great, no symptoms

Amazing and safe GF options. Chef has celiac and is very cautious about cross contamination. Garlic bread and chicken/potato appetizer are amazing, saute dishes are delicious. Highly recommend! Use Udi's rolls for sandwiches.

Recent visit from out of state. Was looking forward to this extensive menu touted as great food and Celiac safe. Staff was helpful. Food was tasty BUT bread just falls apart and pizza crust also doesn’t hold up. The real disappointment was getting glutened! I was sick as a dog the next day so something wasn’t right. Will not return. I wanted to love it.

My husband and I had a delicious pizza steak sandwich tonight. My sandwich was gluten free due to me having Celiac Disease. My sandwich was so good! This place has an awesome gf menu. The manager also has Celiac, and totally understands the whole Celiac thing. I felt very confident eating here without thinking I might get sick. Our server, Charlie was very helpful! My husband said his sandwich was perfect! We will be back!!

Travelled special here for gluten free pizza and pasta. Unfortunately was disappointed in the taste/quality. If I were close by I’d try a few more times just in case but otherwise not worth it. So bummed!

I have eaten here several times and have always had a great experience. There is a separate GF menu and my waiters have been knowledgeable about the GF offerings and protocol. The pizza crust wasn’t my favorite, but I loved all the pasta options I tried, especially the GF gnocchi!! They also have a case of GF frozen desserts (like cheesecake, tiramisu, limoncello cake, chocolate cake etc) that they will thaw for you. It’s so nice to have a safe Italian restaurant nearby!!

Had the pizza steak the bread was soft with a nice chewy outside wasn’t dense overly sweet and didn’t fall apart! I felt very safe eating here there were even a bunch of other gf people and we talked about our other favorite gf places! Will definitely be back it’s an easy jump over the bridge for me but very worth it so far.

Had the most amazing time here with my family. Party of 8, one dairy free and myself who is both GF and dairy free (everyone else has no restrictions). Every dish was delish. So happy to be able to eat pizza again. They really do a great job. All take out is labeled GF and the pizza comes with it's own slicer. Eating there is even better. The GF menu and food is amazing. Stuffed shells with pink vodka sauce is best I've ever had. Place is clean, staff are very knowledgeable.

This is my go to gluten free restaurant. Owner has celiac in his family so really understands the importance of gluten free. Food is excellent especially the chicken franchese. Have eaten here numerous times and have never gotten sick. I highly recommend!

Took my teenage daughter there today for lunch . She enjoyed the garlic bread with cheese and a small pizza . She really liked both things .Staff were very nice, service was good . Was assured everything was kept separate and taken seriously due to owners son having celiac. My daughter had no issues . If your in the area support them!

The service here is exceptional. The son of the owner had multiple allergies and the owner is Celiac. I had no worries about getting sick. I had pasta and so did my husband. The food was just okay, but we haven’t tried the pizza yet, which we hear is phenomenal, so we will be ordering for takeout in the future.

If you have celiacs this is a great place to go. My daughter who is highly sensitive and usually won’t eat out at restaurants because of cross contamination has eaten here safely. Favorite dishes are gluten free penne and gnocchi with vodka sauce, the gluten free Giulio pizza and chicken scampi over potatoes. They even have gluten free tiramisu and other desserts. With 3 children who have celiacs I was so happy to find Palermos.

They really take gluten free diets seriously. I have celiacs disease and I haven’t gotten sick from eating here once! Their GF ravioli is amazing and they even modified their fettuccine Alfredo and made it gluten free for me! It was so good!! They also have a GF chocolate mousse cake which is my go to but my mom also loved their GF tiramisu.

Go go go!! So many options and SO good. I once spoke to somebody from the kitchen, I think he may have been the owner’s son, and he has celiac himself. They know what they’re doing and they know how to do it well! Been multiple times and never had an issue. Some options are marked gf on the regular menu, but make sure to ask for the separate gf menu because it has a ton more options!

They’ve apparently been a gluten free restaurant for over 20 years which is amazing to me. Gluten free perogies!!! Was in love with them and couldn’t get enough. Growing up in a polish house it’s definitely a bummer to be without so this was a happy day for me.

1st time here: Great with celiac disease awareness. Many many gluten free options, not just pizza and pasta. Had the gluten free gnocchi with vodka sauce and loved it! Want to go back already to try more. 2nd time here: got a gluten free 12inch tomato pie and I do think the sauce is amazing, but the crust was very dry. It practically fell apart when I picked it up. Family member got the Ravioli Firenze and said it was to die for!!

This place is excellent. We came across it using this app and the reviews were spot on. Don't judge it by it's outside; the inside is beautiful and updated. The owner was on hand to answer any questions - his adult son has celiac so he knows how to prepare everything properly. This place is a must try if you are celiac and in the area. We had gf pizza, fresh mozz and tomato appetizer.

Julio the owner is wonderful. His son who is 32 now has celiacc. Julio is very very aware and sensitive to prepare everything correctly with no cross contamination. Food was delicious!!!
