I had a great experience here! Had a gluten free udi’s roll for bread service and had a delicious salad. Took precautions to make sure my meal was safe for me and wait staff was very understanding. Would dine here again!

We ate breakfast at the Cafe while staying at the Charleston Place Hotel. There were very few options for my personal allergies (gluten, corn, quinoa, egg, dairy to name a few), but there were a few items on the breakfast menu that were gluten free. In the end, I resorted to my usual: bacon and fruit. Neither were marked GF on the menu, but the server assured me they were, and I had no adverse reactions.

Great experience. Had the shrimp and grits and it was very good. Also had options on the buffet that were gluten free. Would go again.

Staff was very informed about celiac disease and cross contamination. Ate here for breakfast twice while in Charleston and highly recommend. They did excellent job with my celiac son’s meal. Excellent service, beautiful atmosphere, and delicious food.

Exceptional service, accommodated my allergy so well, even had gluten free French toast!! A gem in the heart of Charleston, definitely will be back soon! 😊
