Panera is always a bad choice for those with celiac. I ordered a salad gluten free and it came with some sort of croutons on top. When speaking to the manager, she tried to defend the staff, saying that they cannot prevent cross contamination from occurring. First of all, this is not cross contamination, but a blatant disregard for my dietary needs. Second of all, she didn’t even apologize! I would not recommend.

We have tried to eat here many times and each time there's some error that makes the food unsafe to eat. They have put rolls on top of gluten-free salads, even though I've made it clear that the entire order is gluten-free. They've forgotten the chips that were substituted for a gluten roll, it's always something.

I had a salad, didn’t get sick. But the employees are fairly clueless. I spelled out very specifically that I did NOT want the side of bread, and it still ended up on my tray. Thankfully on the side, not on top of the salad.

I ordered a strawberry poppyseed salad and a smoothie. The service was fine but the food made me sick due to cross contamination.

Very frustrating when trying to get clear and concise information on product ingredients. They have little to no information on the green teas they serve. Their OJ states only fresh squeezed oranges, however their nutrition facts says 37g Carbs, 30g of sugar-seems to be a lack of full disclosure here. PB has zero ability to accommodate gluten allergies. The employee at the register tried to be as helpful as possible, was also great about acknowledging the dairy allergy and accommodating for that.

Website warns food is not for customers with celiac, heightened gluten sensitivity, or wheat allergy. In other words - they don’t commit to be careful about cross contamination.

I ordered off the gluten free menu. Manager reinforced to the cashier how to tag the order as gluten free and that she would notify the prep line. Order arrived and I found fried wonton wrappers under the apples on my salad. These were definitely not gluten free. I approached the prep person and she appeared confused, did not understand that the item contained gluten and was meant to be left off the salad. The manager apologized and prepared a new salad. Panera has the safety measures in place and the manager knew them, but if the employees on the prep line aren’t trained then the policies are useless.
