Cute little taco place. Went for lunch. Separate GF menu, including vegan, vegetarian, and dairy-free markings. Not many options, but options. Staff is knowledgeable and familiar with celiac. Friendly and professional.

Papa grandes is one of my favorites here in DE! I’ve been here several times and absolutely loved! The staff is super knowledgeable about celiac and so sweet and helpful. They have a separate gf menu. I don’t love seafood so the only thing I get is the steak fajitas but delicious and safe! Beware that the beans are cooked in beer, so make sure you don’t get that (but they usually tell you when you’re ordering). Corn tortillas are wrapped in a separate tin foil and are also safe (I am super sensitive and never had an issue). Guac is safe (not the chips since they fry it in a shared fryer) but they can give you corn tortillas to dip in it! Love this place!

Server was familiar with Celiac and provided a gluten free menu, however, very limited in what could be made without cross contact. Said the chef would change gloves and careful about cross contact. The chips are not safe because no dedicated fryer.

A good selection of tacos, fajitas, and other GF options on the menu. Got steak fajitas with corn tortillas; portions were large and very good. When I ordered, the server right away explained that there wouldn’t be a “sizzle” (marinade) and made sure I was okay with it before taking the order. A nice place to sit outside on the upper deck and watch the bay.

Ate there once. Couldn’t eat the chicken tacos as they use a gluten marinade. Haven’t been back. Too limited.

I had the queso and carnitas tacos, both of which were very good. The area around the front door is pretty crowded, so it was a bit of a challenge to navigate that area to get my takeout order, but the staff was friendly and efficient.

They have a gluten free menu, so that made it so much easier. The food was great. The chips are not gluten free as they fry them in a shared fryer but we got the queso appetizer and they brought me soft corn tortillas!
Yes
Gluten free menu had several options. The waitress took care to ask if I had celiac or just a sensitivity. She was very knowledgeable and clear about what was and wasn’t gf. Since the chips are not gf, she had the kitchen cook 4 corn tortillas for me so I could dip them in the salsa. I had blackened shrimp tacos on corn tortillas and rice (beans are not gf). Very good proportions, good price!
The staff was very knowledgeable of Celiac. Gluten free menu. Great service. Good food reasonably priced.

Ate at the upstairs bar and the female bartender up there was very knowledgeable and helpful. I got the blackened fish tacos and she made sure my meal was also dairy free. Also had the strawberry margarita which was super yummy!!

No chips and salsa! This is my biggest pet peeve at Mexican restaurants. Why make something naturally gluten free in the same oil you fry battered products in? I asked if they could fry me chips in another fryer and the waitress said “I could ask but I know what the chef will say, he isn’t nice” They did have a gluten free menu with decent options. I got the fajita plate with corn tortillas. I didn’t get sick but it was VERY overpriced for the portions.

I love tacos, so I had to try it. My daughter an I both have celiac’s, she got beef tacos, I got shrimp Fajita. Neither of is had any problem , I also got a mixed drink made with gluten free vodka.. awesome place
