Felt very good about their attentiveness. They have a manager confirm for celiac folks. The biggest issue, the bun, is microwaved. Not the tastiest but it is way better than no bun (or cross contamination).

The burger was amazing. But many of the sauces aren’t GF and the fries are cooked in the same fryer as other fried items so they are not safe. Food is prepared in a shared kitchen and workspace.

Best Gluten Free Burger in Houston! We love Pappas management for their Gluten Free procedures! Most wait staff are well educated, and a manger or head cook will discuss your order with you and explain cooking procedures. The cook line will clean the grill surface and change gloves before preparing your gluten free burger. It's well worth the extra wait for my family to safely eat a DELICIOUS gluten free burger with gf bun and side Greek salad (unfortunately, the fries are fried in a shared fryer). [This review applies to both the Westheimer and Hobby Airport terminal locations as both have followed the same procedures and exceeded our expectations! Duplicated and crossposted.]

Best GF burger I've had. They use GF buns that taste like hamburger buns. Fries are not GF & a side salad is offered. They have a GF menu.

The Hobby Airport location does not offer a gluten free bun and the fries are cross contaminated. You can have a salad instead of fries and burger with no bun.

As far as gluten free options the staff is helpful! A good breakfast option with real food that is GF, not just some prepackaged sweets! Definitely worth checking out, they even had GF buns so I am assuming that they have some other meal options. We had the trail boss with no potatoes and the manager offered additional eggs in leu.

Flew into Houston for a quick layover and stopped here for lunch. My daughter and I are both celiac and when I asked for a gluten free menu the manager came out and told me exactly what was safe and that he would watch over and make sure gloves were changed and food wasn’t contaminated. He was very accommodating!

These folks know about gluten allergies and take it seriously. I wish more airport restaurants were as careful.

Breakfast review. Three stars since it was simply average, and not special, but definitely GF. Greeter said GF not available, but I sat down based on reviews. Asked for manager, and they were able to set me up with eggs, bacon and sausage combo, along with GF bun. Nothing special (although the sausage links were unique and tasty), but if you are traveling and need a breakfast option at the airport, this is serviceable. I would like to try it at lunch or dinner.

Every time I'm here, the manager comes by to check the items and my allergy. They would be 5 stars if they had a dedicated fryer and gluten-free chips.

Gluten free food was limited but amazing. We had their breakfast. The breakfast sandwich was very good. Manager came over and made sure our food was handled properly.

The gluten free menu was tiny, but the food was decent. The staff absolutely knew how to handle an allergy and after the servers took my order, the manager came out to clarify everything which made me feel really positive about it.

Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The kitchen manager came out to verify my order and explain that the kitchen staff would change gloves and clean surfaces and were knowledgeable about cross-contamination issues. There was none of the subtle "eye-roll" behavior you get with some eateries. The best part was the food. They have a gluten-free bun that is the best gluten-free bread I have eaten anywhere. This was a great experience overall and definitely better than I had expected from an airport restaurant.

The staff was great from beginning to end. The employees were knowledgeable. They also offered options such as a side salad because the fries and onions are cooked with non-gluten items. Once order was placed another kitchen staff came over to verify all my info was correct and would be handled with care. I appreciate airports having Gluten-free options.

I was able to get an egg, cheese, and tomato sandwich on a gluten free bun. The potatoes were deep fried - I didn’t have to ask the staff warmed me - so I passed on those. They also offered to substitute Swiss or cheddar for American cheese, which may not be gluten free. I get tired of asking all the questions; it was so nice to be with this understanding and knowledgeable staff.

Delicious burgers, staff very allergen aware. Once you say you have an allergy the Manager comes to talk to you and reassure you that the kitchen will be notified to take extra precautions.

Fantastic service, separate gf menu. Cook came to table to ensure us grill would be cleaned before cooking our sons burger and it would be assembled in a separate prep station. He even offered to run over to Subway to pick up chips since the fries are not gf. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and took us seriously. Burger was great btw on a gf bun.

Traveling as a celiac can be challenging. Getting stuck overnight unexpectedly can be really challenging. Reading reviews about Pappas Burger had me hopeful I would finally have a real meal. They did not disappoint. The gluten free burger was delicious, as was the burger! Definitely head here if you're in the Houston airport!

AMAZING!! Best GF burger I've had. I added Swiss and bacon. The hostess and server were very sweet and then a manager came out and confirmed my allergy order. Then our food was delivered by the general manager. The buns were the most fluffy and moist I've had. Best allergy accommodation I've had other than Disney. I travel thru this airport concourse every month and had NO idea til now I had a GF option, let alone one this awesome.

Burger was excellent. Loved their gluten free bun. Our server (Jaydee) was top notch. Fast service, good communication about gluten sensitivity. The only (minor) disappointment was that I couldn't eat the fries.

Gluten-free menu, which included GF buns for the burgers. Side salad in lieu of fries. Prompt, friendly service. Added bonus: the hostess jotted down my boarding time while seating me. Not a huge selection, but would absolutely return if flying through Houston again.
