This was my go-to breakfast spot while visiting St. Petersburg! The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. I have other food sensitivities as well, and when I was asking about other ingredients in their gluten free bread, they were able to give me a paper to look at with all the ingredients. It was safe for me, so I got the avocado toast. It was delicious! Their smoothies were also really good. The menu marks what is gluten free, dairy free, and vegan.
Almost everything is gluten free. The person helping me at the counter answered all of my questions and for things he wasn’t sure about he made sure to ask. He said the GF toast for my bagel (which was phenomenal) would be cooked on a sheet that had been sterilized for me. I got the breakfast sandwich and smoothie both of which I will be going back for!
The entire menu is gluten free, dairy free and/or vegan, which I appreciate as I’m also dairy free. The combination of diary free and gluten free can be tough. The owner is also gluten/dairy free so he understands and the menu reflects that. I have tried the sweet toast, the French toast and the avocado toast and all were delish. I am not celiac, but I have been strict GF/DF for 5+ years because I have MS. I didn’t have any issues with the food here. Oh, the coffee is also delicious.
The owner has celiac and the entire kitchen (and toaster oven) is dedicated gluten free. It is a coffee shop with food and in one case they do have baked goods that contain gluten but they are in an enclosed case. This is a separate display case from the one that stores their GF baked goods. They bring these baked goods in from other establishments. I had delicious GF avocado toast and spoke with the owner extensively.
