They can make you a GF donut in any of the flavors offered that day. What this means is that all of the donuts themselves are the same and they put a different glaze / topping on them. We tried the strawberry shortcake, French toast, and coconut. The GF donuts are much smaller (and a bit more expensive) than the regular donuts. They are a cake donut (maybe baked, not fried) and are very crumbly. Overall tasty and super pleased they have GF donuts available!
Drove 20 min to get my wife gluten free donuts, upon arrival i see a sign that says no gluten free donuts at this time. So dont waste your time
Absolutely loved it! Their gluten free doughnut is delicious! So they have a base donut which is gluten free and offer gluten free toppings as well. The employee was well informed of their gluten free menu and knew which toppings and fillings had gluten free options. Food was 100% safe and didn’t make me sick at all.
Make sure to call beforehand because we drove all the way out and they had no Keto or GF donuts available
I tried their gluten free cake donut, which you can get with a variety of glazes. While I was there, I asked how they ensure there is no cross contamination. I was told that they make the gluten free donuts in a separate room from the cronuts. However, they do not guarantee no cross contamination. They will of course box gluten free donuts seperately from regular, if desired/needed. I had the blueberry glaze on my donut and it was very good. The gluten free donut is a very moist cake donut and it holds together well. I did not have anyissues after eating it so I assume they do a pretty good job of keeping cross contamination from occurring. I will definitely go back.
The gluten free donuts are all the same. A small cake like donut. They take these donuts , and can add any flavor of glaze that you like. The donuts were good, but would probably have been better warm. The donuts are handled in the back in there only area, and can be boxed separately.
All the non- gluten free donuts looked amazing but I did not have one. I had a gluten free donut with vanilla frosting and sprinkles.... it was terrible. Was hoping for a cake donut that tasted like a cake donut. I can’t even describe this. If you are ever in downtown Chicago stop at Do-rite donuts. Best GF cake donut ever.
I’m so exited to have a great gluten free donut! It’s been so long! The original menu is not marked but when I asked they have a separate menu with all the options listed, and were able to explain that the gluten free options were gluten free cake with the flavor drizzled on top as opposed to baked in. They made them separate to order, I’m celiac and did not get sick. They’re amazing! I wish we had one closer to home!
We stopped here on our way out of town and I’m so glad we did! They have keto and vegan options as well as gluten free donuts. According to previous reviews they have dedicated fryer and kitchen space for doughnuts. The menu doesn’t tell you what kind they have but say they’re available. I was presently surprised when I ask what flavors they had with several choices! I feel like we never get a lot of choices as celiacs so this was refreshing! Options include: blueberry, chocolate, maple bacon, vanilla. These donuts are the same base coated with the the different flavors, not baked in. Which was fine because they were so good! It was a very moist, fairly dense, caley donut. I got a blueberry and chocolate with the intent on only eating one in the car and ended up hobbling Shan both they were so good! Definitely recommend.
DO NOT get the hibiscus tea. I ordered a sweetened iced hibiscus tea which I usually love... this was honestly one of the worst things I’ve ever tasted and was tossed at the gas station. I also waited for about 30 minutes on the tea. I thought they had forgotten my order and so did the man who ordered after me who noticed I was still waiting. Still giving the place 5 stars for the donuts though!
