Best gluten free Italian food. The staff are super careful and I've been going there for years.
Great food - extensive menu options. Separate pots for GF pasta!!
Awesome!! Everything we had was GF and it was amazing. The GF calamari was the best I've ever had! Definitely coming back here! Staff was very accommodating & knowledgeable too. Delicious GF food.
My new favorite restaurant! Came here for dinner last night. Had GF gnocchi, which was delicious! The garlic bread was just ok, kind of like flatbread. They said 90% of their menu is GF. One of the owners came around and said he has celiac. Our waitress, Tiffany, was wonderful!
So rare to find Ravioli or gnocchi. I also had "garlic bread," which I would say was a frozen pizza crust they put garlic on. Fairly mediocre. The ravioli tasted great, they just only gave me 4. Not enough to fill me up and not very worth it for the price. :(
This place will bend over backwards to cater to any, and I mean ANY food allergy or even preference. This restaurant consistently serves high quality Italian dishes for all guests.
I had lunch here today. It was amazing . I had a chance to talk to one of the owners. He told me that every thing on the regular menu could be made gluten free with the exception of meatballs. I choose veal parmigiana with ravioli 's with garlic bread . It was awesome. For desert I had chocolate cake with a warm caramel center. This is the only restaurant I have seen that has Penne, spaghetti, gnoochi and ravioli on their menu. I highly recommend Pasta Pomodoro.
This place is amazing, I had GF stuffed shells for the first time in 11 years and they were awesome. And the desert tray, yes desert tray, had at least 6 items, I chose the cannoli and cake that tasted just like a Tastycake junior. Most places are lucky to have 1 GF desert. This is now my GOTO restaurant.
AMAZING!! Great staff, delicious and celiac safe food, and byob. Gotta try the canollis! Favorite restaurant ever!
Always a good, safe meal.
I've had celiac for 9 years now and this place is still my absolute favorite. I go here for every celebration and special occasion, so much the staff even recognize my family and I! Super friendly people and delicious meals, much better than any plain old restaurant chain with just salads on the gluten free menu. There's so many options at this place it's hard to decide!
exceptional food service and atmosphere nothing else comes close.
We love this restaurant. The food is wonderful and the service is great. So much gluten free to choose from.
Seemed aware of gluten. Food was excellent
This is the most delicious restaurant! I feel so safe here. The meatballs are even gf and are super. It is BYOB, too. The kitchen totally understands the seriousness of celiac food preparation. This is my favorite place!
Amazing gf food ! Almost everything is GF and delicious! Will come back
Absolutely the best gluten free place ever around this is it for celiacs like me my favorite restaurant where you can eat anything gluten free I had the gluten free garlic bread it was the best and I had a delicious gluten free veal parm with gluten free pasta and and a gluten free cannoli will be going back soon can't wait 👍😀
Tons of GF menu options for an enjoyable Italian dining experience. We were visiting from out of town and our waitress carefully reviewed the menu for us. Dinner salad was part of the dinner, which was a nice touch.
Best GF meal I've had yet! GF bread tastes like regular flatbread and they have numerous pasta options including ravioli which I thought I would never have again after being diagnosed with celiacs.
I absolutely love this place. I usually get a chicken sandwich on delicious gluten-free focaccia. I'm also really excited they cater. I'm planning to use them for future events.
Ate tonight first time. Pub was too crowded. I'm glad it was! This turned out great even after I slipped in the parking lot . Can I just say I have not had fried calamari in 10 years. Or chicken parm that was breaded out. Not just sauce thrown on it with some cheese. Garlic bread. Gnocchi . And the sauces were great! I wish this was in bucks county pa!!! It's an about an hour from me so if your in nj your lucky . And I don't know where people are eating and there getting gluten free Italian food that's good and cheap but let me know cause I haven't had any in 10 years! It most stinks and it's not inexpensive . One of the owner/ partners said his son and partner is gluten free and a dr who's a customer complained when the weren't all gluten free so they changed it. Works for me!
GF chicken parm sandwich on garlic-toasted foccia is outstanding. Ravioli and other entrees are fantastic too.
Always a pleasant experience! One place you definitely do not have to worry about cross contamination. Good excellent and great food choices, as well! Highly recommend!
Best gluten free food I've had in a restaurant. I live in Baltimore and make a point to stop here to eat every time I'm in NJ visiting family. The gluten free pasta dishes are amazing and I'm obsessed with the garlic bread. The owner is so nice and accommodating. He always comes by the table to check on every patron. Definitely stop in and try it out. You won't be disappointed!
100% gluten-free safe and 100% delicious
I have celiac disease. The tray of 8 different gluten free desserts was awesome. I had a delicious piece of vanilla cake with chocolate icing after a veal parm sandwich on GF focaccia bread. And GF French fries. So many GF choices......
They have updated their menu and made significant changes to serve celiacs. The owner has a child with celiac and multiple allergies. Staff is patient and willing to help!
This restaurant is our go to night out! Always great food and never any problems... Sometimes the service can be slow but the owner is really knowledgable and friendly.
I drive to this restaurant from Philly because the food is so good, and I don't have to worry if it's safe. The staff is wonderful, and you'll be treated like family every time you go.
Absolutely delicious!! I had a gf pasta with chicken and gf garlic bread and everything was amazing! Couldn't even tell it was gluten free!!
i've been her several times over the years, but have stopped going. food is often good, but sometimes too greasy. i do not understand the mark up for g-f. it is way too much. it was almost tolerable when they were the only place around, but now you have options.
Great food! You can trust that, once they know you are eating gluten free, everything you order will be safe. They even have gluten free canoles!
Best gluten free food I've ever had! They make 90% of their food gluten free. My boyfriend took me there as a surprise and he enjoyed his meal as much as I did. They not only have great food but an awesome atmosphere. They also cater to other dietary needs such as vegetarian. This is a must try place for any one!
I've been here a number of times thanks to the large gluten free menu and the generally positive customer service but I have several complaints about them too. Just a quick note that I don't believe I've ever been glutened there. This restaurant prides itself on catering to GF diners so why the huge up charge for GF meals? $3 for a pasta dish is hefty considering I can get a whole bag of GF pasta for less. The food is also inconsistent - sometimes it's good and sometimes not. I've also never had an amazing meal there. The desserts are seriously overpriced (about $8 a piece), are generally also mediocre, and are barely ever switched out for new ones. Overall, I would say I go to PP probably more frequently than any other restaurant because it is safe - I can be reasonably sure I won't get sick. If the prices were more reasonable, I would likely go a lot more often - even though I've found the food to be inconsistent. Please lower the prices - I think you'll get a lot more repeat business!
The service was good. The food was ok, however, I went home with a mean stomach ache. I believe my food had gluten mixed in some how.
Every time I go here, the service is absolutely FANTASTIC and the food is the best gluten free food I've had in the area. I literally have zero complaints. The owner/manager Pasquale, is so nice and welcoming! Every time I'm home from college I go as often as I can. Best gluten free Italian food around!
service was absolutely atrocious which is a shame because the food was very good. owner was very apologetic but meal was ruined by the service. not sure if I would return just because of that.
I was glutened here. :( Was definitely their food and not something else I ate.. Won't be going back. The food itself also wasn't very good. The sauces were watery and salty. My nonceliac dining companions did not like their food, agreeing it was heavily over-salted.
I've been here several times, and have enjoyed every bite. The service has been very good, as well. My only complaint is a minor one, that they restrict the menu on Valentine's Day and amp up the prices.
Very heavy on the garlic. Also, very expensive for gluten free items.
Had a great experience at this restaurant! Pasquale (owner) came to my table and talked to me about the restaurant and all that is done to keep Celiacs safe. He was very informative and helped me a great deal. I felt very comfortable after speaking with him and enjoyed my meal very much. So nice to have so many options that were gluten free and very good!!!
Always a great and safe family dining option.
I had a wonderful gluten free dinner on Thursday with 3 dining companions who had regular meals. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about celiac and explained that they have a whole seperate gluten free area in the kitchen. There was also a large party in the restaurant and no cross contamination. This has been and will continue to be a safe gluten free restaurant for me.
I am sad to report that I got "glutened" here. The staff was VERY attentive, incredibly so, but I am as certain as one can be that I consumed gluten at Pasta Pomodoro. I had eaten nothing else that day, and the GI symptoms began in the car after the meal, and lasted for a couple weeks. The symptoms I get from a glutening are unlike any other kind of sick I get. I hadn't been glutened in 15 months prior to this incident as I am very careful and rarely eat at out except at my "safe" restaurants. I was traveling and took a risk here because of all the glowing reviews and the awards. Maybe it was a fluke or perhaps I am more sensitive than others, but I cannot recommend this restaurant to other celiacs and will not go there again.
WOW! really, really good gluten free food! they won an award at a recent celiac awareness festival with good reason! I had garlic bread that was awesome, I had ravioli that tasted light and delicious! and guess what else, several desserts to choose from! as a gluten free vegatarian I was very pleased with variety of menu options, quality of food, portion size and a well informed pleasant waiter! thanks so much, finally a family friendly gluten free restaurant!
Love this place, no brainer for a celiac!!
Definitely the tastiest and safest gluten free food around! This place is my favorite because you can order anything off the menu and you can be sure that it will be delicious and completely gluten free. The chef and the waitstaff take great care to eliminate any chance of cross contamination. This place always amazes me with the variety of food they offer. Pasta Pomodoro had allowed me to enjoy gluten free versions of my favorite foods that I gave up on ever having again 8 years ago when I found out I had celiac. Calamari and mozzarella sticks! Yum! Center City Philly has a lot of great gluten free dining options, but highly recommend making the trip to the suburbs to eat at Pasta Pomodoro.
A great deal to choose from and an understanding , knowledgeable staff.
Wonderful!! Has great gluten free food & wonderful service! You will walk out very happy !
They have to be one of the best GF restaurants in the area. Service is very good .
