Okay there is a bit of a story here, so bear with me. My mum went in the establishment and tried to order a gluten free burger because she has celiac. The last 3 times she had been in they didn't get her burger right. This time around they were out of the gluten free buns, so they offered to make it a lettuce wrap instead. Long story short it came as a regular burger that was inedible for my mum who was trying not to break down. She doesn't want to be a Karen to be able to eat. The manager or owner, I don't know who he is wasn't really leading the staff of teenagers and the lack of knowledge with cross contamination is obvious. My mum and I both don't want the manager to see this and jump down his crews' throats because he also needs to improve.
Update: they cook their buns and burgers on the same grill. Not sure if it’s a new cook I observed or if it is a part of learning how to be more safe with celiac. Would not recommend but fries are still in their own fryer and they are still a really friendly place. Kept previous review below for fairness.
I am new to the area and I was very stressed to see such limited options for celiac-friendly restaurants. This place hadn’t had a review in a while, but I decided to try it. And what a good idea it was! I walked up to the counter and said, I have celiac and he immediately told me everything they do. Fryer for fries only, no fried foods available. Pretty much the only gluten item available is the bun, but they had GF available as well. The cook came out and told me he had a specific part of the grill for my burger and asked if I could have seasoning on my burger which I declined. The fries and burger were both great! They were so kind! I’ll definitely be back.
This place is wonderful! I took my family here, and I’m the only one who is gluten-free. Everyone agreed that these were some of the best burgers and fries they had ever had. The staff was friendly and caring, and I felt completely safe eating here. Like others have said, their fryer is dedicated gluten-free, and their gluten-free buns are delicious.
Great burger and fries!! They grill the gluten free buns in the grill with the hamburger patties and do the other buns or a separate grill. The fries were in a dedicated fryer as well.
The cashier didn’t seem to know much but I asked and the other staff did and really put me at ease with their precautions.
After being diagnosed with celiac decease I was no longer able to go out and enjoy a good burger, and then I tried Patrick's at the prompting of a co-worker and nearly burst into tears. A delicious burger, so many toppings to choose from, a tasty bun you can sink your teeth into without worry of making yourself sick and a friendly environment. My only regret is not trying them sooner.
