I have eaten here many times and never gotten sick (note: i am an extremely sensitive celiac). If you are clear with them, they will ensure the space is clean and no cross contamination. They use their oven too cook the GF pizza (not in fire oven) on a pan dedicated for their gluten free crust. I will note that the only pizzas that can be made on GF crust are the thin crust. These are the only items i have guaranteed to be safe for celiac. This is one of my favorite pizzas EVER!!!

I know someone who works here and they told me the gluten free pizzas do not have a separate space. They share the same spot in the oven cooking with the other regular pizzas. Wouldn’t recommend if you are celiac or have a severe gluten allergy
I called ahead and found out they buy their GF crust pre-made (so its not made in the kitchen with the rest of the gluten pizza) The GF pizza I got was excellent, and I didn’t get sick from eating there.
Yes
This is one of the Patxi's locations that has gluten-free options (including an awesome GF pizza crust.) GF options are called out on the menu, but you can also make some things safe with minor alterations (no crutons on salads, ask to get the bread on the Burrata appetizer replaced with a GF pizza crust, etc.) Be aware that the sausage contains wheat but the rest of the meats are fine.
Yes
BEWARE!!! I ordered a gluten free take out and they sent me home with a normal pizza and I got glutened with one accidental bite and got very sick. Make sure to double triple check that they are being careful. I don’t trust them at this point and can’t even imagine about their cross contamination.

Idk why people don’t talk about this place more, out of all the pizza places in Santa Barbara this one is by far the best. They were very knowledgeable about everything gluten free and put in a lot of effort to make sure I felt safe eating there. They contacted the chef and let the kitchen know about the “allergy” and for anyone wondering it is COMPLETELY separate from all the other gluten. They offer many options for pizza types as well as 2 different sizes of pizza crust which was great. And not to mention the food was amazing gluten and gluten free. All around great restaurant and highly recommend visiting. P.S price point is a little high

It is a really good pizza! I tried the margherita. The only bad thing is it took a while to be brought to our table. I read here there is cross contamination, I did not check that. I actually read it after I had eaten.

The gluten free crust isn’t well marked on the menu, but I knew it was there and I asked (I couldn’t even find it on the menu actually). The pizza was good, tasted like gluten free crust (not amazing but not bad), and the pizza is very customizable which is fun. Good location and many other non-gluten options for my fellow diners. I would go again!
