I grabbed lunch to go, and spoke to the owner. She was very happy to talk to a customer (my first time) w Celiac to let me know her attention to being gf. She had just found gf bread that is up to her standards w taste and texture, and will begin using that as well. I tried a piece of the certified gf Carbonaut bread and it is delicious. Looking forward to eating there again.

Delicious! It’s a hoagie on a pickle instead of a roll! They also have GF pretzel rolls if you are craving a Philly soft pretzel. Large portions, knowledgeable, friendly staff and fresh food.

Elsie’s Pickles is the BEST! They sub out the bread with a giant pickle. It’s dill-icious! They have gluten free meats and a huge selection of gf chips. They are extremely aware of celiac and gluten free. Portions are very generous. Katherine, the Owner, is so sweet. I love this place! Closed on Sundays and Mondays. Staff were really welcoming and helpful. They warned that they are unsure of the Italian lunch meat bc it is not clearly labeled Gluten Free. I appreciated the honestly! I got the falafel on the pickle wraps, they were nicely wrapped and tasted good. Slightly dry, even with the juicy pickle, but I added mayo which Made it better. Did not get sick! My 7 year old daughter who I also Celiac got the turkey on pickle wraps, loved it and did not get sick either! We loved the self serve pickle brine, so fun!
