Ordered burger on gf bread. Our waitress told us that people generally comment about how good the gf bread is. I’m visiting with family from Virginia. I got glutened. First they brought out a full gluten meal and when I mentioned that I ordered gf, our waitress apologized and took it back. We made a point of stressing that I have celiacs disease and it’s really important that they don’t just take it off the bun and put the same burger on gf bread. First, the gf bread was terrible. It was all crumbly and inedible. I don’t know who would complement that. Second, I had to wait about 10 min after my family started eating to get my burger. By the time I got my burger, most of my family had already finished their meals. Third, a few minutes after I ate, I could barely keep my eyes open and felt sick. They glutened me and ruined my day. I am not ultra sensitive- so this must have been really bad. They told me they have a dedicated fryer but I’ll bet the fries had gluten sprayed on them and they carelessly told me they were gf.
I first ordered a GF pizza, they didn’t have the dough. I then ordered a burger with GF Bread and a side salad. My one friend at the table ordered her burger without the bun. The waiter kept messing up mine and her order. I didn’t get sick, but I was worried. Also, the wings are NOT in a dedicated fryer, I asked and they do NOT do that.
Great service... options limited- they have sliced bread to replace the bun if you desire... their fries are not gluten free, but they have house made chips that are... undecided on whether or not I would return
I ordered the bruschetta pizza on a gluten free pizza shell. It was very good, no complaints. Nothing about the crust stood out as “gluten free” to me. Only small pizzas can be made with a gluten free shell but it was still big enough to split with one other person. Small is 12 inch versus large 18 inch.
