Great service! They are knowledgeable-limited menu but can also adapt other items. No key lime pie, as they said they discontinued due to finding gluten in it! Tips: I brought my own crackers and had the oyster app. They suggested I not eat their cocktail sauce so I requested ketchup, horseradish and lemon and made my own. Yum!

Wonderful supper! Gluten free menu with plenty of options. I had the mixed grill- grouper, shrimp and scallops with new potatoes and corn on the cob. The manager came out to speak with me to ensure my food would be safe and a separate server brought my food out with gloves on. Very greatful for the concern they showed.

The staff was fantastic and very knowledgeable about needing strict gluten free. The only issue was when I tested the key lime pie, it came back as having gluten, we tested twice. The manager was upset with his pie lady bc it was suppose to be GF and they pay apt of money for that pie. Needless to say he will be finding a new pie lady lol. But they were very nice and helpful and they actually were thankful we tested the pie. I believe thy actually care at peg leg Pete’s bc the mamba get requested another test so he can make sure and provide true gf.

GF menu is small, but good. Make sure you sit upstairs as the GF menu is extremely limited downstairs. Manager came out to SEE if I had any questions. Grouper was AMAZING!

Visit from manager after ordering! He explained their process for safety and confirmed that I’m ok with latex gloves because they are worn to prep my food. Large menu with lots of options. Highly recommend!

Staff very knowledgeable. He even commented that they take food allergies very seriously. Manager came home over to confirm that the GF order would be prepared separately. When it was delivered the waitress had on gloves. Mixed Grill was delicious.

Staff was very knowledgeable about having a gluten allergy. You do have to ask for the gluten free menu, but the waitress was pleased to bring it to us. The manager on duty even came to our table and explained the food handling process to us. And they even have Gluten Free Key Lime Pie!

We’ve been here twice in two years. They do a great job! The Manager always comes table side to understand the allergy. They prepare the food in a separate space. Highly recommended Peg Leg Pete’s to anyone that has a Gluten Allergy.

When placing your order you tell them you are gluten free, they will then explain how things are done to make sure the food is safe, then the manager comes out and talks to you again to explain things further. On this occasion they had run out of one of their normal seasonings and needed to check if the replacement seasoning was gluten free as well. They came back to verify that is was gluten free and would be ok. They also told me the salad dressing is gluten free but they know that some people can have a reaction to the coloring in the dressing and wanted to check with me to make sure I was ok with that. The food was delicious. They modified my order so it would be gluten free. And for dessert gluten free key lime pie.

This restaurant prioritizes reassuring customers about the protocols the staff follows in order to keep diners safe. Manager personally visited our table to set expectations. Our waitress wore gloves when serving me. The food was delicious and that gluten free key lime pie- wow!

Amazing service! When you tell them that you have celiac they send out a manager to explain their gluten free procedures. One person handles all your food and brings it out wearing gloves. By far my best gf experience eating out!

Wonderful experience! I had crab legs and my family has a variety of chicken, new potatoes, and broccoli. They do have a variety of items on their gluten free menu. The manager came out after our order was taken just to touch base. Definitely worth the trip.

My son has Celiac disease and we are sitting here now, just ordered off the Gluten Free menu, pretty straight forward crab legs and grilled shrimp. The manager still came out and spoke with my son, asked what he ordered and told him some sides he could have that would be safe. Asked if latex gloves were ok. Told us he is in good hands, said everyone that will handle his food is aware of the Gluten concern and they take it very seriously. So awesome!!

This place was my saving grace on vacation!!! I felt so comfortable eating here, extremely surprised the manager came out to discuss my allergy and provide assurance, as a customary procedure. My food was brought out first and separately from all others and they wear gloves as precautionary measure as well. Most importantly, the food was GREAT with a decent amount of choices too! I couldn't have asked for anything better!

This place is great! The manager comes to meet with every allergy patron they have to personally assure you that yoy won't get sick. They have dedicated space, menu items, and menu. In no way shape or form do they ever make you feel like a second class citize! Allergy patrons even have a separate server to prevent contamination on delivery to the table.

EXCELLENT!!! Celiac friendly, and delicious!! I was impressed that the manager came out to the table after I ordered and assured me everything would be double checked to make sure it would be alright and safe. I had the crab legs and the scallops with a side salad. It was wonderful and the staff served my meals to me with gloves on to be sure there was no cross contamination. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Fun atmosphere and great with food allergens/intolerances. Asked for a gluten free menu and had plenty to pick from. It wasn't a robust GF menu, but had enough variety to satisfy my seafood desire. I ordered the mahi-mahi with broccoli and red potatoes, super yummy. It was served separate from the rest of my party's meals and delivered to me by the manager who also wore gloves. Walked away without the tiniest sick feeling and no bloating. Two thumbs up!

We had dinner here last night. We had read a lot of reviews and felt like we had to go try it since our daughter had never had fresh seafood. First of all, this place is super busy. We tried to go Sunday night and realized that it was going to be like 8 before we got seated so that wasn't an option with a 2 yo. We went early and were seated in about 15 minutes. There server was the first to explain how everything would go and then the general manager came over and explained everything. They are super nice and super detailed and acted like they understood fully. We ordered everything as always from the gluten free menu. We had the appetizer grilled shrimp, my daughter had the scallops, husband the Mahi Mahi, and I had the crab legs. Everything was brought to the table with gloves on. It was a great experience. Yes it did take a while to get our food but we expect that. We will be back next time we are passing through. My daughter had no issues and felt fine.

One of the absolute best experiences we have had eating out since diagnosis 5 years ago. The waitress told us if she messed up and we got sick she would be fired immediately. The food was amazing and lots of options!

Aye Matey, this is a new addition to the GF restaurant options in Pensacola Beach area. The GF options are pretty good, and if you want a burger, bring your own bun. A manager will come to your table to discuss your specific needs and oversees the prep, ensuring that nothing else is prepared at the same time. Your GF meal is brought out separately, too. I would go back. Also, I think the prices here are more deserving of a $$ entry instead of $$$.

The waitress sent the manager to my table. He told me how they would prepare and serve my food. The person that brought my plate had gloves on. I was very impressed with this restaurant. I ordered a grilled chicken breast, boiled potatoes, and corn coblette. I would have loved the grouper sandwich but they don't offer a GF bun. Next time I will bring my own bun. They have a GF key lime pie that didn't impress me. I think they left the key limes out. Overall excellent service and very good GF food. You don't have to be scared to eat there.

Service was great, the manager actually came out and talked to me about how the kitchen treats food allergies. Menu was sparse with available options or I would have given five stars. I guess they are afraid to use any seasonings. Would it kill a place to buy a bottle of gf season for something?

Very attentive to my gluten free needs. The food was a little bland though. It seems like they leave all the seasoning off when you tell them you have an allergy.

Awesome food. Exceptionally fantastic service!! The waitress Bree knew all about gluten free. The manager came out to double check on what we could or could not eat. Half our table was gluten free and the other half not, so they explained our meals would come out separately to avoid cross contamination. This is our new favorite place.

Very impressed with peg leg pete's! A manager came and talked to me about my allergies and explained HOW my food would be prepared and come through the kitchen. He informed me that the chef knew about the allergies and that they would do everything in the power to prevent cross contamination. Even asked if I had a latex allergy due to the fact they wear latex gloves! My server was also very knowledgable about food allergies. I HIGHLY recommend!
