Sometimes it is fine... Other times, I question the CC factor. I try to go when it's NOT a busy time (11am/3-4pm).
I called the Norman Pei Wei to ask how the food was prepared. I was told the cooks use the same Wok for all orders.
No
I give PeiWei credit for having a "gluten free" dish, but it made me sick. I find it hard to trust chains.
Great chain food, gf options are marked but must be requested as gf

I’ve eaten there a few times since I found out they had GF items available. There are about 5 or 6 items available on the menu and they are not salads, lol. I’ve tried the sweet and sour chicken and the beef and broccoli and neither gave me issues. They told me that they clean the griddle surface when they make GF meals and call out “gluten free” when you order. I watched them make it and they followed all precautions—changed gloves, used separate utensils and cleaned all surfaces prior to making my food. I will come here over and over. It’s nice to have a place you can go when you’re out and about.

Thought I was safe ordering from the gluten free menu items. Don’t trust it. I was feeling horrible within 2 hours or less - with my typical symptoms if I consume gluten. Completely ruined my afternoon after trying so hard for the last 8 months to not eat any gluten. Very disappointed.

First time I’ve been to Pei Wei in awhile - their Original Chicken is gluten free and was delicious. Not marked on the menu but staff was knowledgeable
