The restaurant had a cozy neighborhood feel, which we liked, and our server was super friendly. Sadly, that’s where the good ends and the bad begins. The GF crust was super thin and nothing special about it. Toppings were not abundant and not great quality. Beer glasses were warm and not super clean. But, by far the worst, and what made me throw out our leftovers, was when the male chef came out of the single stall women’s restroom (even though the men’s was empty) and left sprinkles all over the seat and floor. At that point I also realized I had not heard the hand dryer. Gross!

It was very good with big pizzas and salad! The gluten-free pizza is smaller but it’s the perfect size 👌

Good sturdy crust. It’s got a good flavor too. The pizza toppings are pretty bland though. I’ve tried two flavors and neither was very tasty to me. I had the pepperoni and then The Pat (sausage)
This is my go to place for gluten free pizza. They cook it in its on dish so risk of contamination is really low to none. I trust this place for pizza more than any other place. As of now only place I’m okay with ordering out for pizza if not frozen.

Like another poster I don't get the complaints about the crust. Our family loves it. It is different from their regular crusts because it's made elsewhere to ensure its safety - which we appreciate! I love that there is a pizza place where celiacs can get ALL the toppings (prepared in a separate area of the kitchen) instead of being relegated to one or two items.
I was ordering for my celiac son's birthday so I was apprehensive. The manager was so kind and informed and took the time to explain their process/safety.

I don’t get the bad reviews about the crust! It was thin and crispy. They bake GF pizzas in a separate pan so that they aren’t contaminated by the oven. Unsure if any other precautions are taken, but I let them know I was celiac and didn’t get sick. My favorite is the Fungus Amongus!

Love this place. I came here before I had to eat gluten free and am glad I can still rely on it. The gf crust was herbs in it (similar to Portland Pie Company in Maine if you know it) - it’s one of my favorites in the area. They avoid cross contamination using disposable foil pans to bake it in. They keep it in the pan for delivery or serve it on the pan in house - thus they and I are clear that it is gluten free and made to avoid cross contamination. Great spot too just to hang out and have a nice cocktail or wine - fun, tasty. When I was recovering from surgeries this year I always requested my boyfriend bring me some Penguin Pizza home to cheer me up (never fails)
Yes
The crust was very moist and uncooked.
Delicious GF pizza!! they cook it in a separate disposable pan to avoid cross contamination. Thumbs up Penguin Pizza!!

They must have changed things since the older negative reviews, because this is the best GF pizza I've ever had! Most GF pizza has a thin, boring crust, so this thicker, chewier crust with herbs is a welcome change. Plus, they are competent at avoiding cross contamination, they have really yummy toppings, and the restaurant/bar itself is a fun spot to hang out.

Food was great! The GF pizza was made in a disposable pan to avoid cross contamination and it was perfect! We will definitely go back next time we're in the area.
Pizza is cooked in a separate disposable pan, which is good for cross-contamination. The pizza crust isn't like any I've encountered before-- very doughy and undercooked, but it stays together. Not my favorite option.
Yes
Pizza was uncooked in the middle.
Love love love their gf pizza!!
Pizza is very good
They now have gluten free crusts (only available in 8 inch) and can be topped with whatever you like (but they don't specify which specialty pizzas or toppings are GF). I ordered the "Blanco" - a white pizza with pesto and garlic - and the crust seemed either under-cooked or soggy. Will certainly give it one more shot due to the sheer option of having GF pizza delivered, but it was honestly no good the first time around.
