Excellent service, good Celiac awareness, dedicated GF menu (not fryer), yummy lobster roll & ceaser for me.
I’m recently diagnosed celiac and trying to figure out where I can eat, was really excited Penrose has a separate menu as have always loved them! Made sure to tell waitress I was celiac and no cross contamination. My moms order was completely incorrect and had to be remade. My burger came with a side salad…with croutons…mentioned it to waitress I can’t eat that and could I have a new side salad but no biggie. She said of course. And brought me the same salad…that she picked the croutons out of…with one left so I knew not to eat it. Will be a long while before I go back- we waited over 1.5 hrs to eat lunch there with very slow and bad service. Major disappointment.

Great tasting food. The wait staff took GF seriously. No dedicated fryer but ice cream was safe and they had a gf peanut butter pie.
