Went here on both directions of a recent trip for a sit down meal. No problem with the gf breakfast bowl on the way out but on the return ordered one of the salads and found a piece of bread buried in the guacamole (told the server both times about my celiac and asked them to communicate it to the kitchen). All of the salads are labeled GF so I had hoped this would be a safe option but clearly not. Restaurant seemed very under staffed, do not trust their kitchen. A few items in the grab and go market are GF but if prepared in the same kitchen it may not be the best move if you are sensitive to cross contamination
Knowledgeable about GF. Food is wayyyyy better than most airport fare. Being adjacent to Chick Fil A probably hurts their business (I also like CFA). The chicken & wild rice soup is excellent. Sandwiches can be GF and come with a salad that has fresh greens. Be sure to specify GF when you order.
Server Ken was quite possibly the most considerate and helpful in my whole experience. Asking about how sensitive I am, recommending what would be the most safe for me to eat, and working closely with kitchen staff to ensure food safety. Celiac with very sensitive system Had the macro bowl, so delicious!
SO good. Chic Fil A was closed, so I had to pick somewhere else. I give this place 9/10. A little confusing because there is a coffee bar with a restaurant attached to the back. I almost missed it. Seat yourself. Food took a little while to come. I got the Mahi tacos with sweet potato fries. With tips, my total was $30. It was WORTH it. Super filling. 45 minutes is the minimum you will need for this place.
I eat here all of the time! They have gluten free toast as well, just not on the menu. I usually order Chicken tacos with sweet potato fries or even regular fries. I always let them know I have celiac/gluten allergy. I’ve also gotten avocado roast with eggs and bacon. I eat here once a week and have never had an issue, and I have severe issues with CC.
Good selection, I got excited about the amount of gluten free deserts on the menu. In the cafe I noticed they would have one tray of gluten free donuts next to or on the lower shelf next to a tray of just vegan donuts. Just worth noting some possible cross contamination but this has to be the most friendly place for celiacs in the airport.
Worth every penny! Love this restaurant, so many options and fast service
Menu has clear statement that all items that are labelled GF have GF ingredients and warns there is potential for cross contamination in the kitchen. I ordered the fries and enjoyed not having to give the waiter my medical history because of the reports here that the frier is dedicated GF and the menu is clearly labelled. Aioli was delicious and I had no celiac reaction.
Im a celiac. I asked the counter girl 3 times if the chicken wrap was gluten free since wheat or gluten was not in the ingredients. She adamantly said it was gluten free. After the first few bites I had a reaction. I asked her again, and she said that has wheat after looking at a chart. Now stuck in airport very sick.
Note that there are multiple locations at the airport. The grab and go are not safe. The sit down restaurant is - deducted gf fryer, staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. You can go to the bar and order “to go”. We purposely try to fly through MSP rather than MKE or ORD because we know that we can get good and safe food.
I would give the waiter here a 5 star but the place for gluten free a 1 star, as I really appreciated that he said it was not a good idea to eat here if I was sensitive. He said the risk of cross contamination was high and he could not guarantee it would be safe. I really wanted the sweet potatoes fries lol but I got a bag of gluten free puff cheeses from the little grocery store instead. The delta lounge close by also had gluten free brownies.
Very frustrating this last go around. Showed up at 7:55 (they close at 8:00) and they said they shut dinner service and only grab and go was available. Even though it was clear one table just sat down.
They were not even concerned about helping us. When we asked what GF options there were with grab n go they said cookies and turned away. It’s a real shame as this place is usually better than this.
The staff are very friendly. The food is large portions. It was so good. Highly recommend the caramel brownie that is gluten free!
Nice sit down restaurant in the MSP airport. They also have a quick service counter at the front with coffee and pastries and soups. Some of the soup options are gluten free.
Dine in menu is well marked with GF and has a good selection. Soups, wings, fries, tacos (chicken, fish, or tofu options) as well as multiple gluten free desserts!
Waitress was knowledgeable about the fryer.
I let the staff know I had celiacs and the waitress double checked with the manager. They did inform me that not everything GF would be 100% safe. I choose two options the waitress consulted the manager and I received the breakfast bowl. Very delicious and I did not get sick. I felt safe with how cautious they were being. They also informed me that their doughnuts were vegan and gluten free. So I had a chocolate doughnut. It was wonderful. Great staff and food
Wonderful - this is by far my favorite celiacs-friendly restaurant in all of greater Minneapolis. I have eaten there dozens of times and I have never been disappointed. For anyone seeking really delicious, fresh, reliable gluten free sandwiches or hot meals this is the place to go. (Also try the veggie hash -it's amazing).
