We live close to this restaurant and have been regulars for years (before and after the Celiac diagnosis). Great food- main complaint is their consistency isn’t great, but when it’s on it’s hard to beat. Gluten free dedicated fryer is a huge plus. The gluten free buns are fine.

Best burger place I’ve been to. Been there a handful of times and I’ve never been glutened. The food is delicious. THE FRIES ARE GF no cross-contamination problems for me. The bun is exquisite. I can’t imagine you would be upset if you went.

ETA: Last time we ate there I definitely got glutened. Haven’t gone back since. We had eaten there successfully many times in the past. I may try it again but not sure when.

Peppers and Fries are only a few blocks away from my home. During the pandemic they have been very responsive to the needs of the neighborhood and their customers. Our household is one with multiple allergies. I have horrible reactions to both gluten and dairy. Our adult child has a severe reaction to all nightshades. We haven't ever had a reaction from the food from this restaurant. The staff are friendly, helpful and totally take our allergies seriously. Although I am not Celiac, I have a profound sensitivity to foods even processed in the same facilities as wheat or milk. I have had nothing but respect from the staff on multiple occasions concerning these allergies.

New management no longer takes gluten-free seriously, and openly admitted they don't actually keep the fryer safe even though they say they do. Avoid entirely!

INTENDED POISONING!! Was a frequent visitor. Asked every visit about the dedicated fryer. This time my server went in back to tell the cook staff and they all made a big laughing deal about it not mattering. I didn't choose to believe they'd actually be that malicious, but I am now sicker than I have been in years. I started breaking out with blisters before I even got home. The waitstaff openly mocked us (actually waving at us while complaining about us not 20 feet away-this gal is LOUD, and she also wore blackface on Halloween.

Got severely glutened. Had a reaction in under two hours from eating there. I told the server I had celiac and he said it wouldn't be a problem at all. Very disappointed. Food tastes good, if someone didnt have celiac and wanted gluten free ingredients, they may be fine.

Love this place! They have a separate frier for all chicken wings and fries! They are knowledgeable enough to know not to toast the buns on the flat top next to the regular buns. This is my go to spot for a good greasy burger and fries fix.

I really enjoy this place. While it feels like you really don't have a lot of options, the food is excellent. My favorite is the Memphis hot dog! The flautas, nachos, fries with cheese sauce, and gf friendly burgers are all great! Keep it simple for your order though. We tried to do a gluten free hot dog along with fries (to share) and an add on gluten hot dog and they kept bringing out the fries with the gluten bun next to them. We ended up getting a 2nd fry because of it (no charge).

Friendly fun place for burgers and fries - they offer gluten-free buns and they have dedicated fryers for non-breaded items.
