We went here for dinner due to the good reviews and the fact that their menu had items marked GF. It was easy enough to navigate the menu, but the food was sub-par at best. It was Celiac friendly enough, but with all the fantastic food in NOLA, you’d be wasting your time eating here.
The food I had was very good, it was a chicken creole. I didn’t get glutened which was nice. I had no problems. There are a few things on the menu that are marked gluten free. However the waitress didn’t know much, I just reminded her no bread and of other ingredients. It was overall a good experience.
Staff doesn't understand what gluten free means, even though there are a few gf options on menu. My meal was served with regular bread. Food was absolutely terrible and expensive. Service was hilariously bad. Literally worst restaurant I've ever been to.
Only meal I've EVER sent back to the kitchen as not edible. I didn't end up eating anything. Items listed as gf aren't all actually gluten free (jambalaya). I got catfish and it was by far the worst meal I've ever received. Pure mush and tasteless. Do NOT eat here!
Be sure to cross-check this app's ratings with another app like Yelp, TripAdvisor, or Google. We found this place waking down Royal Street & the menu posted outside had several options labeled GF. This app had 5 stars at the time, so we decided to stop in. The interior was drab, the waitstaff was not knowledgeable about GF/Celiac AT ALL (after explaining the gluten allergy, the waiter asked if we wanted the French bread as part of the appetizer), the service was slow & the food was mediocre. We stopped at appetizers and found a better place to finish our dinner.
