My kids ordered meals and loved them. Everything looked and smelled great. I ended up not ordering anything as it didn’t seem safe for a person with celiac disease. The waitress said everything has shared surfaces- grill, preparation, fryer.

💕I ate there in the way down to the Bay Area 4 weeks ago, and I’m going back this morning in my way home. It’s authentic Mexican food with ingredients from Mexico, so the corn has not been GMO modified to accept the Glyphosate that’s in Roundup, nor the 2/4D (Agent Orange) that can be sprayed on US corn. I suspect their flour tortillas would also be edible for people like me, who are gluten-sensitive only. The plate was a huge amount and excellent!

We just moved to Crescent City and can't get enough of this restaurant. They do not have a gluten-free menu, but the staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. You will have to avoid the chips and anything fried, but their menu is extensive so you should have no trouble finding something delicious to eat. I've had the Huarache Supreme, soft shredded beef taco, tamale, and a Carne Asada soft taco in the several times we've been there and I've never had any reactions. I highly recommend this small, friendly, family run Mexican restaurant.

We were very impressed to stumble upon this place. The food was great. The menu does not specify GF but most Mexican food is pretty safe. I had pork carnitas and they were a little caramelized and crispy on top which gave it great flavor. My husband had the spicy chili Verde (they weren’t kidding, it was spicy!) and it had the same type of meat as the carnitas plate but with chili Verde sauce on top. The salsa was incredibly tasty too. The staff was super nice and the place was packed out. Seemed to be a local favorite and we can see why.
