I have celiac disease and ordered food from their gluten free menu. Got home and tested my food with the Nima gluten sensor and it came back positive for gluten on the gf changs chicken. So of course I didn’t eat any of it. I called and told them and they said they’re not sure what happened and refunded me. Scary to think they are supposed to have all separate gluten free plates, pans and utensils but mess up that big. The next week I ordered again and the same thing tested positives again. Then I had also ordered gf Mongolian beef and gf friend rice which has always been fine. So even though the chicken tested positive I ate the Mongolian beef. At the bottom of the rice I started tasting sweet sauce. Realized there was change chicken sauce in the Mongolian beef and fried rice. Then tested that corner with Nima and it tested positive for gluten after I ate a few bites. I’ve been sick for days. From this small contamination. And the restaurant takes no ownership that the gf changs chicken is NOT gluten free. Can never trust them again

Always a great option of GF Chinese Food. Items are clearly marked on the menu and served on separate coloured plates.

Sadly the same thing happened to me that happened to the previous review, ordered everything gluten-free, was all labeled gluten-free, but when I went home and tested with Nima it said gluten found. They refunded me but I’m sad I won’t get my Chinese food fix.

Outstanding protocol. GF food comes on a different plate than the other food. They are very careful.

Knowledgeable staff, good food selections. It’s the safest Chinese food I’ve eaten. Doesn’t have much flavor but I never had the establishment prior to allergy test results so I don’t know if it’s a gluten-free or “conscientious Chinese food” factor.

Picked up food from here the first time and they were so good about asking if I wanted GF soy sauce and omitting cookies. 2nd time - not so much - just regular kikkoman and some fortune cookies thrown in. Otherwise no reactions.

Great food, great service. Felt comfortable ordering GF from the staff here. Egg drop soup was on point. Can't vouch for it being perfectly gf because I'm new to this.

Friendly service. I love how they bring out the gf dishes on a special pf chang's logo plate.

My favorite place to eat. Knowledgable staff and kitchen. They use separate everything including plates so you know yours is gluten free. I've eaten here tons of times and never gotten sick. My go to is the gf changs spicy chicken, egg drop soup and sometimes the appetizer of the gf lettuce wraps. Great place for people with celiacs.

Simply the best - celiacs feel so safe with them. Make sure your plates are round if dining in, as that's a sign of GF food - If getting take out, confirm pink GF labels on all entrees. Say no to fortune cookies lol
Gluten free menu! Best gluten free Chinese food option in the valley. Gluten free soy sauce too!
Love being to able to order here from ubereats and get their noodles and other items like beef broccoli

Gluten free items are marked on menu saying “GFO”-gluten free option. Waiter explained gluten free items are treated special by staff and all come out on a black plate with a red or gold rim.

Was able to order some gluten free dishes here. Server told us at the restaurant the food served in red plates are gluten free. Normally the dishes are served in black plates. Easy way to tell in a big group what was safe to eat!

This place is very expensive but safe gluten-free Chinese food is very hard to find. I ordered takeout through their website off the gluten free menu and put CELIAC GLUTEN ALLERGY in the notes. I brought it home and tested the fried rice and Mongolian beef with my Nima sensor. Both came out gluten free (:
Update! I’ve ordered to-go three more times since and I have not gotten sick! I’ve ordered over the phone and online with no issues.
