Have a gluten free menu with a few options and gluten free soy sauce to go on the side. Also the edamame is not gluten free
So happy with our meal! This is our 2nd visit to a PF Chang’s! My son and husband have CD. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about cross contamination. The GF came on different plates! I would recommend this 100%!!
I had egg drop soup and chicken lettuce wraps, both gluten free. Both were delicious. They serve the gluten free entrees on special plates so everyone in the kitchen is (or should be at least) aware the entree is gluten free. There is a slight up-charge for gluten free but to me it's worth it. There was a happy hour special from 4-6 p.m. and the chicken lettuce wraps were $3.50 off.
Dedicated Gf lunch menu and sauces. Perfect!
Always had a good and safe experience here. Had a waitress who was very familiar with celiac and made sure my food was safe. When the wrong lettuce wraps came out she sent them back before even coming to our table. I really appreciated it.
I love P.F. Chang's BEFORE I went gluten-free and AFTER I became gluten-free. One of my friends and I went to P.F.Chang's this past weekend and my experience was wonderful. I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease over a year ago which has made dining out challenging. I was well taken care of by Salam (server), Christine (bartender) and the manager. When I spoke to Salam about my dining needs, she took it seriously and elevated it to the manager. The manager came and spoke with me and was very kind. I was able to order for the gluten-free menu and all the food was great. Additionally, I wanted to engage in the spirits and was able to do so. The bartender, Christine was knowledgeable about what drinks did or did not have gluten. She made two different drinks for me and they were great!!!! I cannot say how happy I was about my dining experience. I did not get sick at all while I was there or 24 hours later. This is why they got 5 stars from me.
We were excited about the GF menu but wish the server would have known that the GF version if the Buddah's Feast was not like their regular version which is stir fried in a sauce with tofu. Instead I was served a plate of steamed vegetables. If the regular sauce is not GF, why not stir fry it in the lettuce wrap sauce (they were yummy) or the beef a la Sichuan sauce? Clearly I ordered the wrong thing. Lesson learned...ask questions when ordering off the GF menu.
Celiac friendly. Good experience.
Love this place. All the GF options taste just like the real ones, and I ask my friends/family to order the GF version of their meal so we can all share. The GF food is served on different looking plates as well, which makes me feel safe when I see it brought to the table!
the best gluten free chinese restaurant. Period.
Delicious food! If you make a reservation its really easy to be seated! Love their gluten free menu!
I love that I can easily and safely order gf food online for pickup. They put bright orange stickers that say gluten free on all of the containers.
I appreciate feeling safe at an Asian restaurant. Maybe more will follow their lead.
Delicious and safe as usual. I can only say good things about this location and theyve all been mentioned in the other reviews! Knowledgeable staff, large and delicious gf menu, not really any worry about cross contamination. Yum!
Lots of GF options here...rare among big restaurants. Accommodating staff and the food is top notch. Highly recommend.
I am so happy that they added some of the deleted menu items back. It makes the gf menu more complete. Good understanding of cross contamination & different plates for gf dishes. I also like that the gf menu is part of the regular menu so you aren't asking for a different menu or holding something different that everyone else in your party (and can see the prices).
I have to admit, this could be my most favorite dining experience since I've become gluten free. They offer shrimp and chicken proteins, in many of their entrees. they usually have gluten free beer. and the best part I almost always have leftovers
By far the MOST accomodating restaurant I've been to. 1. They have GF menu with various options. 2. If two people at the same table orders the same dish (GF and non-GF), they have plates especially designated for GF food so there's no mix-up from the kitchen to your table. GF plates has a black lined circle around the plate with "PF Chang" imprint on it. All other plates are bland white. 3. Best of all, they even offer GF dessert! A rich chocolate dome flourless cake. Make room for it!! 4. They have GF stickers that they put on take out containers for GF food that you take home. At most restaurants they offer GF dishes but when it's dessert time, they tell you "Sorry we dont have anything for you". Usually not a problem for me, but tell that to a kid (my son) is a different story.
always been more than helpful. good food at decent prices. and the gf selection and menu has come a long way!!
I generally love P.F. Chang’s as a chain but this location just isn’t up to par. I have eaten here a couple times and I have had problems every time. Twice my mom (also celiac) and I had gotten food that is not gluten-free on a gluten-free plate. I recently ordered the gluten-free fried rice and it was completely bland. They also have never gotten our order right even for the gluten eaters in my family.
Wouldn't consider most places celiac friendly but the staff was very on point and was had a wonderful experience. Was also with a vegetarian, making our table overly complicated compared to most tables. Nonetheless, had a slight issue witch an average plate. That was more than taken care of. Was very pleased with my visit! Would be delighted to return again
Great experience here. I love that they have a dedicated gluten free menu. Loved the chicken pad thai. The new management has been great in helping step up service and our waitress was very prompt and attentive.
Great Ginger Chicken and Broccoli. Waitress promised that the staff understands food allergies and my I was given a Gluten Free menu. It was the first time that I was able to eat in a Chinese restaurant in 10 year's. The food was wonderful, the service was awesome. I had no problems with cross contamination. 5 stars all of the way.
They have a dedicated gluten free menu. My server was very knowledgeable and the food was delicious.
I dined in a group of 7 and am coeliac. There were a few gluten free options (nb check the pricing on the GF menu - I questioned everything being $2 more expensive than reg and they said it was an error). Servers weren’t that knowledgeable about any of the food or wine items and they tried to sneak extra drinks we didn’t order onto the bill. Food was pretty good and venue had good atmosphere
Not good for celiacs. Even though their corporate policies seem like they’ll be good at handling your food (food comes out on a specifically marked plate, labeling on the menu is good), I got extremely sick after eating a rice noodle dish here. High risk of cross contamination.
Always my goto restaurant. The Mongolian beef is my favorite. Too bad the fortune cookies are gluten.
We love that we can place an order when we land and it's ready to go when we arrive to pick it up. Their menu is limited, but they still have several GF options. Note that they don't take gift cards at this location. it's located in the main entry area of the airport between all of the terminals.
My mother and I came here for my birthday (three weeks ago). We had just gotten off the road after driving for over a hour(stayed in he area). The waiter was very knowledgeable about gluten free. We got my favorite beef and broccoli with white rice. It was very filling and I didn’t get glutened from it. The waiter even gave my fortune cookie to my mom, so that I wouldn’t get cross contamination from touching the outside part of the fortune cookie bag. Love it here! My favorite!!!
Amazing experience granted the menu is not huge but what they say they do is awesome. I am intolerant so I am not a good test subject to see if what they do is true. But I got to eat a dish I have not had in years shrimp and lobster sauce. The left overs were good too! No headache 😍
The food was amazing. It said GF and I got the fried rice with chicken and was impressed how good the breading was..... and then I was in for the worst night ever. Almost went to the hospital. So scared to even think about eating out again.
GF menu is small but adequate. Despite it being a chain, I trust this place because the risk of Cross contamination seems pretty low since most of the menu is already naturally gf when you change out the soy sauce. Told them we were eating gf, our server was awesome. He brought out a bottle of gf soy sauce, when we asked for straws he grabbed them with clean napkin when handing them to us (one of my biggest pet peeves as a person with food allergies is watching a server clear plates with half eaten food and wiping down counters with food covered rags then grab a straw with their dirty hands & plunk it down into my drink and having to ask for a whole new drink). He was trained very well and stated their protocol of food prep without us having to awkwardly ask. I felt like a normal person eating there. A little pricey but i don't mind paying since they take such care, amazing tasting food, and great atmosphere. I'd recommend the street noodles, spicy Chang's chicken, and mongolian beef of course! My only complaint, is that we had to ask for new plates and forks since the hostess who sat us laid the regular menu all over our clean plates and utensils. those menus get dirty and covered in food, and for someone with food allergies this is a big stressor. Most people just don't think about it, but if your serving those who have allergies it's something the front of the house should be doing, not just the cooks in the back of the house. The experience is just as important as the food. Either way, love PF Chang's!
If you have Celiac, don't eat here. I worked at PF Chang's and saw food being prepared for GF people. The rice is kept in three buckets, one white, one brown, one fried. One spoon is used for all buckets, and when not in use, the spoon is put in a cup of water. The regular fried rice has soy sauce in it. If you get GF fried rice (or any rice), it's contaminated by the spoon. GF sauces are not kept separate from other sauces, and it's likely that soy sauce gets on the GF things. I've seen it happen. There are so many chances for contamination.
My daughter is newly diagnosed with gluten intolerance and we were excited to see they had multiple options for her. Service was super friendly but when my daughter asked for gf soy sauce she was brought packets of regular soy sauce. Thankfully she's smart and reads labels and didn't use any. We waited forever for someone to acknowledge us to ask for the correct gf soy sauce and by the time she got it the rest of us were finished eating. She ate a small portion of her chicken fried rice and shortly after was sick and in pain. Thoroughly disappointing.
P.F. Chang’s never disappoints! If you tell your server your allergies/dietary restrictions at the beginning they will come back with a print out of what you can and cannot have which is so nice as I also have a dairy allergy and am dairy free. All GF meals are ran out separately from the kitchen on a different plate than the normal food to signify it’s gluten free. I eat here often and have never gotten sick!
Been ordering gluten-free items from their gluten-free menu at this location for a while but have now been glutened twice from the spicy chicken. Definitely not safe for celiac.
This place is one of my favorites - I always have peace of mind that they are going to take great care with my food. Chicken fried rice is my fave!
