I love eating here. They understand and care about limiting chances for cross contamination. The food is amazing. And I can have dessert!
usually the food is good and I don't get sick m. yesterday, however, the food tasted odd and I was extremely sick last night. my daughter took my leftovers and found a noodle in them. they were contaminated. I won't eat at this location again
Great GF menu and they have GF soy sauce which is a plus
The lettuce wraps are delicious
I love this place! I always feel safe when eating here and the staff is very knowledgeable. I ordered the veggie shrimp fried rice and it was very good, however, kind of bland. They have gluten free soy sauce but no other sauce. Still ate everything on my plate though! I also had the egg drop soup and went ahead and ordered a to-go beef and broccoli, I was very disappointed with the to go order though, rice wasn't cooked well and beef was chewy so that's why I only selected 4 stars! However I did not get sick with either meal and I find that a success!!
Stopped here on trip to Oak Ridge. Service was decent. Ordered off the gluten free menu and had reaction. Plus found a hair in my food. Will not be back.
My mother was "glutened" at the P.F. Chang's in Knoxville. She was sick for more than 2 days after ordering a gluten free meal there. We communicated this to P.F. Chang's and they said that they would better train the staff. I later found out that I also have Celiac and since have been "glutened" twice now by P.F. Chang's. I've eaten there only 5 times. There still seems to be a problem with the wait staff not communicating with the kitchen properly. The food was pretty good tasting, but I will not be going back and do not recommend this place to anyone that has Celiac, as gluten sensitivities do not seem to be taken seriously by P.F. Chang's staff.
Great service and really educated on celiac disease.
Great GF choices and the wait staff is also GF friendly.
Great service always and I've never gotten sick here (or at any pf changs). In my mind one of the safest places for a celiac to eat.
Excellent food & service.
I've never had a problem here. The food is tasty.
Ch-Chang! Love it. As far as chain restaurants go, this is one of the best. Plenty of GF options. One time we went there, the dining room smelled gross. Hasn't stopped me from going back, though.
I can always count on a good, consistent experience here. Never have been "glutened" in my 50+ visits. I think the Knoxville location is one of the best around, and I have eaten at many PF Changs across the country. Kudos to the service team and management here!!!
Always awesome. Even have GF dedicated dishes.
Awesome food! Great selections and a knowledgeable staff on gluten free!
Well educated staff on allergy needs. Many options on the gluten free menu (which is listed in a separate section in their regular menu). Delicious food... No sacrificing taste for dietary needs!
Great GF menu with a nice selection. Staff is well trained and always knowledgable about GF menu selections. I always enjoy my meal here and appreciate not having to explain my special dietary needs!
Great GF menu selection and deserts too! Server was knowledge about celiac disease and cross contamination. Food is prepared in a designed area and serving plates are clearly marked. My daughter 100% approves.
Ordered all gluten free menu items. Stressed for someone with celiacs. One dish had a piece of breaded shrimp in it (no shrimp in our order). Had to cook dinner for our daughter. They were really apologetic and handled it well after the fact (food was free), claimed they wouldn't take any more GF orders that night so they could clean everything. Thats why 3 stars and not 1.
I have UC and haven't been to my favorite restaurant P.F. Chang's, since diagnosis. I was encouraged by previous reviews so I went there for dinner with a friend on Friday, 7/21/17. I'm already vegan; I wrote a small list of foods I cannot eat on my low-FODMAP diet and gave it to my server, Keegen. He spoke with kitchen staff and told me my dinner choice, coconut curry veggies, is gluten free and could be made without onion and garlic. I asked to have tofu added..no problem. I requested white rice and eventually our meals were served. My dinner was delicious, very flavorful although a little watery so I added all the rice, which helped. I forgot to ask for no celwry so picked the few out. It's now the next day and I feel great. No issues at all! I recommend this testaurant as definitely GF friendly but do bring your list of ingredients you cannot have and request the low-FODMAP version of your meal. Not all menu items are friendly to our illness so check their ingredient list online before going there.
My server, Jeff, was super knowledgeable and the lettuce wraps never fail to please.
Great food, great service. Felt comfortable ordering GF from the staff here. Egg drop soup was on point. Can't vouch for it being perfectly gf because I'm new to this.
great food! the entire staff is so attentive . Everyone is schooled on gluten free. We had the lettuce wraps and Mongolia beef. I am a very picky eater and it was amazing . I had cake with strawberries all gluten free! what a great dinner!
I am celiac and I had dinner with my inlaws here. The staff and manager were so on top of it. I ate my entire entree and did not get sick--a first so far at a non-dedicated business. So pleased and very impressed with their concern, communication to the kitchen and serving staff was great, and service was great too. Thank you! Usually I'm relegated to tea or water. Will return.
SO GOOD! I've had PF Changs both in the restaurant and take out and have been impressed with their knowledge and accommodations. Plates are designed differently for gluten free and take out containers are labeled. They have a cup full of packaged, disposable chopsticks as well at each table and we're very clean overall. I have celiac and am very sensitive and have never gotten sick here. So happy to be able to eat Chinese food!
I have celiac and have eaten at multiple PF Chang's locations and have never had an issue. They have a decently sized gluten free menu. The gf chicken wrap appetizer is delicious. And they even have gf dessert! I've gotten the gf chocolate dome dessert a few times and would definitely recommend it to any chocolate lovers. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly.
One of the first restaurants we went to after celiac diagnosis. We were so excited for him to be able to eat out. But 30 minutes into the meal he got sick and ended up in the bathroom. I guess the only plus was it was located at a mall and I was able to run to Gap and buy him new clothes... worst experience ever.
We've been here a dozen or so times and never had an issue with gluten contamination. We had one near miss but our server snagged the plate before it hit our table. (ALL GF food should come out on a special plate without the usual PF chang's logo on it so it can be IDed by anyone after it leaves the kitchen--in our case our waitress saw that the food runner was about to drop a normal PF Chang's plate on our table and she rushed over and sent it back. She even comp'ed us part of the bill.) Our servers have always been knowledgeable and accommodating. We always get the Mongolian Beef--it really scratches an itch for those of us who can't eat at most Chinese restaurants! The street noodles are another favorite.
love love love pf Chang's great gf menu love lettuce wraps and fried rice with gf soy sauce
Great tasting food. GF menu available with good choice and knowledgeable server. Highly recommended.
Got so sick here. Don't eat here if you have an allergy or celiac.
