The first manager didn’t know what I was talking about when I asked for the GF menu, but another manager then brought us the menu that identified the GF options. The girl that took out order knew more about gf diets, and helped us get through the ordering process. The food was exceptional.
My husband has celiac and is sensitive to cross contamination. He ordered tri tip fries and didn’t get sick. He absolutely enjoyed it. If you google Phil’s bbq gf menu, it’ll show you whats gluten free. They have a separate fryer for fries too. As per usual, for all CC friends, we always flag everything for gluten allergy!
I eat here a lot. Only once did I get a Caesar salad with 1 crouton in it. They were very sorry. They said you guys are great customers and wouldn’t want to lose you. Gave me a gift card to come back in the future. I have gotten ribs, baked beans, Caesar salad, and the Tri tip fries. Those are my favorite.
A great place to go. Get a tickler and let them know you have an allergy. They will sun the onion rings for more fries or coleslaw. I have been many times with no problem.
Because it was the closest place on this app, twice in one week I went to lunch with friends, we are here.
The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and almost everything on the menu is gluten safe.
I don’t know when the last time I had eaten french fries because almost no one has a dedicated gluten-free fryer.
How fun!!!
Not a lot of cross contamination opportunities in my opinion. Fries have a dedicated fryer, and sauce is gf. I've never gotten sick here, and been many times. If you want to question the staff, it's better to sit in the bar. They have more time and patience in the bar than the cashiers at the front.
