Their website flat our states that they are not safe for Celiacs. :(

Turned away (even when I changed my mind to order a salad) because they said they couldn't risk making me sick. Pizzas are cooked without a pan in the same oven as other pizzas and the prep area is covered in flour. Bummed because I LOVED their food before!

I love it here! The gluten free pizza tastes great and is very reasonably priced. The person making the pizza always offers to do a glove change and use non-contaminated ingredients.
Adjusting my review after I just went there the other day and AFTER they made my pizza they explained they could no longer put the pizza in the oven on the metal pan. I wish they would have told me before I ordered. Very disappointed as it is too much cross contamination for me.
Didn't make me sick at all! When you ask for gluten free they will ask if you want them to change their gloves. I recommend yes. They use sauce and oil from a separate section with separate brushes. The cheese and the toppings coming from the same section as the rest of pizzas I think they used their hands to grab toppings so there may be crossed contamination. They will also ask if you want to leave your pizza on the metal thing they have it on. I did that as the flour pizzas lie in the open flame oven without anything. The pizza will take longer to cook on the metal but to me it was worth it to not touch the same surface. I am not celiac so idk if I recommend it to celiacs because I cannot imagine there isn't crossed contamination but I think they give a good effort considering it's a pizza joint. Plus the food was awesome!

Not Celiac friendly. They are no longer allowed to put the pizza in the oven on a separate pan. Though this is on a separate side of the oven they brush, it doesn't seem safe. This was described to me after I ordered my pizza, and I wound up just eating the toppings. Would be fine for a non-celiac person, or someone who's just sensitive.

Ate here and had no issues. I added vegan mozzarella instead of regular since I have issues with some cheeses. No issues! Asked me if they needed to chance their gloves for handling my food.
Twice I ate here and my pizza wasn't cooked through. It was still frozen. I sun butted a comment card but never heard back from Management. I won't eat here again.
This place is very nice and affordable for GF pizza. Unlimited toppings select your sauce etc. if you say GF they will ask if you want them to clean it or change gloves or what not. I would suggest coming here! Hasn't hurt my stomach yet!
Ordered a gluten free pizza and the staff was super nice and asked about safety precautions along the way. Change gloves, change spoons, cook the pizza in a pan so it doesn’t touch the oven. I appreciate the effort and enjoyed my pizza, but I wouldn’t know how safe the pizza would be for someone with a more severe sensitivity than me. If you go on the website and build a gluten free pizza on the location you’re planning on going to, it’ll only list the ingredients that are gluten free if you want an idea of your options before going.
Great experience. Gluten free crust, washed hands and changed gloves, had separate utensils and sauces bins to prevent cross contamination. Also separate pizza cutter. Very impressed.

This is a fairly new pizza place in Honolulu and is close to the University. When I said i was celiac, the server changed her gloves and was careful about preparing my pizza and cooking it. You choose all the toppings you want so it’s pretty easy to order a pizza you like. The restaurant was busy so that speaks volumes.

Pieology is a franchise that makes reasonable pizza in front of you the way Chipotle makes your burritos. Your pizza will pass through a few hands. They have gluten free crusts and cauliflower crusts. The first lady that pulled out my gf crust clearly has no idea what celiac is when I mentioned it, and didn't change her gloves. To her, this was just another pizza. The second and third ladies did understand celiac and followed good procedures. My toppings were got fresh from the back with new gloves to prevent cross contamination and the pizza was put in the oven on special metal plate, not the wooden ones like for the others. So clearly, this was a case of one person not being trained well. Anyway, the gf crust was a bad cracker, so I wouldn't recommend anyone going here. There's better gf crust around. Toppings were fine.
