Not my first time eating here and I had to settle for a salad once again. No gluten free options listed on menu. The server was able to list a number of dishes. Gluten free pasta cooked in separate water available with most sauces (probably should have risked this). Risotto is not GF. Can make Chicken Piccata gluten free or Broiled Chicken but they come with contaminated vegetables cooked in the regular pasta water. I had a Jimmy's salad - romaine, arugula, white beans, Kalamata olives with added prawns. Had to send one prawn back as it was not cooked through and they brought 3 more, one also not cooked through. It's difficult to sit at the table and watch my friends enjoying the fresh bread that I remember from before my diagnosis.

I am very close with the owners of Pietro’s and I can say that it is a very safe place to eat with celiac. They have plenty of things gluten free including gluten free pasta and depending on the time you go at pizza too. As long as you notify you waiter and tell them that you have celiac then I can guarantee that you will be all good.

Had a wonderful dinner. That said, this place I would not consider celiac friendly. Gluten free friendly is closer to the mark. My fiancé had chicken piccata and it was delicious. They do offer gluten free pastas but with all the other items being prepared in such close proximity and an open kitchen for observation. My recommendation is this place is not for you if you are celiac.

Staff knowledgeable about gluten and celiac. We have been here on several occasions and my husband has had no problem. The last time we ordered the same dish. They were able to make his gluten-free.

They do not have a GF menu or anything in writing. I'm sorry, I've learned too hard too many times to NEVER trust the whole "we'll make you something" promise when they don't even have anything on the menu in the first place. Beware.

Despite my being strictly gluten-free (I have celiac disease), and my husband being vegetarian, the food was SPECTACULAR -- authentic Italian food. My Chicken Piccata made without flour was so delicious I can't wait to return to Pietro's -- the flavours were so perfect. Wow! SUPERB food if you love genuine Italian cuisine. The chef and the server were very helpful and creative and took great care to ensure that my meal was gluten free, and we will definitely return often!A note about the food that some may want to know:Coming from Europe, I generally find American pasta/pizza dishes disappointing because they are so often sweet, whereas at Pietro's the food tastes to me like food I've eaten in Italy -- not sweet -- so if you like your entree to be sweet you might want to let your server know so that the chef can add sugar for you.
