Cross Contamination nightmare. It’s now a franchise, no longer named Pinocchio’s. While we were verbally told that “90% of the flavors were gluten free”, looking at the selections showed each ice cream had at least one if not many more other flavors dotted into the surface from scooping. Being served by people who clearly could have cared less. Waaay too risky to I decided to abstain rather than pay the price on vacation :(
On vacation a few months ago, I asked if any ice cream was GF, told most flavors were, then asked what I was interested in that day. When I asked for the mint choc chip, team member enthusiastically said it was and then without prompting, asked if I had celiac, did I want him to open a new carton and use a clean scoop!!! As a relative newcomer to Celiac and GF, I have been challenged when going out and was shocked and stunned at the awareness and support!! #best ice cream ever!#Pinnochios Ice Cream Sanibel!
They have gluten free cones and gluten free animal cracker the cone was tasteless. Ice cream was good. Long line, limited outside seat onyx
