Gluten-free pizza was very good. They are not a dedicated facility so it’s ok for wheat intolerance.
I spoke with the waitress and she assured me they do everything they can to avoid contamination. The pizza was great. It's a thin crust, but I've gotten used to that.
They have gluten free pizza crust and ravioli on their menu, but be advised, especially in the case of the ravioli, you have to specify gluten free, because they also have a glutened ravioli. It wasn't until I asked a second question about the ravioli that the waitress went "Oh, you want the gluten free!" And I went "Man am I glad I asked, that could have been so, so bad..." They're a pizza place, so of course there's flour from one end of the place to the other, so if you're sensitive to cross contamination you may still be on guard, but otherwise had a nice meal!
Gluten free crust and vegan cheese. Our server, Sara, was very considerate and placed breadsticks separately from the salad just in case I was worried about cross contamination. It’s not a gluten free kitchen so there is probably cross contamination anyway, but I thought it was nice she tried to do that. Pizza was good and would happily go back again.
Oh my lord, it is so good. must visit if in Mack City!!!!!
Didn't see many gf options for Mackinaw city, pizza was ok but not worth what I paid for it. Didn't make me sick and that's the main concern!
Very good GF pizza. They don't have a dedicated GF menu but they do list the ingredients in their crust. Not celiac friendly because there is a disclaimer that they do their best to keep it GF but they do have flour everywhere in their kitchen. Waitress wasn't that knowledgeable about GF, I had to correct her. I would go back again for sure.
Excellent GF Pizza! The staff was very knowledgeable! A little expensive for the amount of food you get:/
The gluten-free pizza was very good and so was the service. It's great to find a place with GF food while away from home. If they had more options it would have been even better. Since I did not get ill after the 1st day we went back again the next day too.
Staff was knowledgeable when it came to preparation of dish and celiac. The pizza was small and pretty good, just not the best gluten free pizza ever. It's nice to have a safe place to eat on vacation though.
I ate twice here during my long stay. First time the 10 inch round gf pizza was awesome good with thick crust, the second time around the pizza was super flat, but prolly because I had so many toppings. Very nice wait staff.
Quaint little pizza place on the main st. Excellent pizza and excellent service! The waitress was very knowledgeable about celiacs and Gluten Free and talked to the kitchen staff to make sure they knew I had celiacs and wasn't just on a Gluten free diet! Ate the whole pizza... LoL! Not one problem afterwards... Felt great! Would definitely recommend!
My daughter has celiac and we ate dinner there with no issues. The server understood our concerns about cross contamination & changing gloves prior to making her food. Best of all, the pizza was really good.
Their gluten free pizza was delicious! It only comes in a personal size, though. They delivered to our hotel, which was a plus!
The gluten free pizza was delicious. Thin crust not deep dish but really good. The crust wasn't hard and crunchy but flaky and crispy, really different from regular gluten free pizza. Pizza palace plays 50's music, it's a nice little place.
It's always nice to come across a pizza place that serves GF pizza while on vacation. It's the one thing I truly miss. This place it's the first one we've come across on vacation, so for that reason I'm thrilled. Unfortunately the pizza was just ok.
Very yummy gluten free pizza, in fact, the gluten free crust was one of the nicest I have ever had: not at all heavy, but very flaky and light, with a nice bite to it. And fresh (not canned) mushrooms, too. Yum .
Delicious gluten free pizza!
