Gluten free pizza And desserts. The salad dressings are NOT gf. They do have gf pasta, but I didn't try those. They changed gloves and have a separate area for gf, but the tables were not clean. I put down napkins on all the table space I used and didn't get sick. The pizza crust wasn't my favorite.
We have eaten here twice, once at the restaurant and once from take-out. Both times the GF pizza and breadsticks were delicious and our five years old daughter with Celiacs didn't have any problems. We love the GF cheesey breadsticks. Yum!
When we ordered pizza from them that made sure that the gf pizzas were marked. They were absolutely yummy. Will be ordering from them again.

I had my first experience there the other day. I loved the pizza and I didn't get sick. It gets a 4 because the hostess said all they offer is GF pizza and I paid for the buffet. I was so disappointed. It was crowded, dirty and there were kids running around like it was a jungle gym
Good food for a great price! The girl at the register almost ruined it, but we decided to stay and give it a chance. I'm glad we did. The rest of the staff was great! The past was decent, salad bar great and only 2$ for each gf pizza even dessert and cheese bread. went during happy hpur 2-4 so it was 6.00 plus I got a combo pizza and dessert pizza for barely 10.00 not to mention the all you can eat pasta and salad! That is half the price of just 1 pizza anywhere else. They definitely need to expand!
Pasta tasted amazing! It's a buffet but for an extra $2 you get your own gf pizza. Loved loved loved this place!
This place has good food for a good price!!! read on for a more detailed description/review... first the price= it is a buffet so you pay to get in $7.25 for lunch $8.25 for dinner. happy hour is 2-4:00p.m. Monday-Friday you get in for $6.00. You get all the gluten free pasta ( penne pasta ) & salad you can eat for that. you pay an extra $2.00 for every pizza. if you do the math, even if you only get one pizza your still paying less than the $15.00 average everywhere else. in the kitchen your crust is put on its own CLEAN aluminum pan & baked. menu & lists. of gluten free ingredients in on the front counter. you don't have a dedicated gluten free kitchen but the staff is extremely careful:-) I took my mom there yesterday for her birthday. we got two sodas. four salads, four portions of pasta & five pizzas all for about $30 (i think it was $31.00) their dessert pizzas are amazing. gluten free just can't eat the oreo or cookie dough.... the apple & peach cobbler are my favorite!!:-) also they have a frequent diner club. by 10 adult entrees get one free:-) the quality of all of their ingredients is very good also!!! only slight problem is its canned pineapple but even that is still very good!!:-)
Great place! They will even do garlic bread and some of there dessert pizzas! Pasta was good too!
I used to drive to Alpine for their pizza. It's a buffet style for those not GF, but you can order a regular GF pizza there. There is also a salad bar and GF pasta, while you wait for the pizza. There's a large variety of pizza toppings, including dessert pizza;
My family and I had lunch here today and I could not have been happier! The young man taking our order was wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable about gluten and cross contamination. I thought the gluten free pizza was delicious and it's also the cheapest I've found. Most importantly I didn't have any reaction. I'm quite sensitive so I opted not to eat at the salad bar, but was completely fine with the pizza. Yay! Going back for my birthday in a few weeks!
The food might not taste the best but they are definitely knowledgeable about GF and celiacs. I have never gotten sick from here and I am VERY sensitive to gluten. It is worth trying if you live in the valley and are cursing the lack of good gluten-free places.
Great GF pizza. Nice menu with a list of Gluten Free toppings and CERTIFIED GF toppings. This is a pizza buffet, but they brought us our own whole pizza. Plenty big enough for two people. I can't believe he rang the price up right... A gf pizza and two drinks for $6?! Good pizza, good service.
I was so excited when my friend told me about Pizza Pie Café. Her mom has Celiac's and she loves to eat there. It is now my favorite place to get pizza. You can either pizza to stay or to go. I'm not sure about the pasta, that may be available only if you stay at the restaurant. All the servers are very friendly. They even told me I can make my pizza half desert and half regular pizza. If you do stay, there is a bit of a wait for your pizza to arrive. It is always well worth it. I always grab a plate of salad at the buffet while I wait.
I was very pleased with this restaurant being a buffet style.. The staff was very helpful being my first time to visit. The pizza does cost $2 more but, it's worth it. They even told me I could make my pizza half dessert and half a normal pizza.. The cook your noodles separate from where they cook wheat noodles. The noodles, pizza, ect., everything that I could sample was great!
I was very pleased with my experience at Pizza Pie Cafe. There is a $2 up charge, which I find reasonable. You order your own pizza and bring it to your table. This is where my only complaint comes. They give you this little plaque to set on your table so they can find you but when bringing out the pizza, minimal effort was given to find my table. They ended up not giving me my pizza until I had to go ask for it and three pieces were eaten out of it. The food was very good and celiac friendly. I would just be sure to set your sign In an obvious place and watch for your pizza.
For ppl eating gf it is an extra $2 added to the buffet price. So you get the salad bar all you can eat and a personal gf pizza brought to your table. The gf pizza was decent, not the best ever but certainly not the worst. It's somewhere in the middle but it satisfied my pizza craving for sure. Friendly helpful staff with gf knowledge. Wahoo! Much cheaper than many other gf pizza joints and the rest of the fam can get other stuff since it's all you can eat! We will be back!
We were VERY impressed. The lady who took our order obviously cared. She left the station a few times and asked very specific questions for us. We enjoyed the gluten free pasta with marinara sauce. You can have marinara or meat marinara. They put on gloves and heated the noodles in a special hot pot just for gluten free pasta and they knew exactly what to do. Only downside is the wait when multiple GF people are there. This was VERY good. Had some asiago and parmesan cheese on it. The pizza was sooooooo much better than I expected. We liked it better cold from the freezer than in the restaurant but it was very good. We got a pizza, unlimited pasta and salad bar for two for just under $20. We'll be back in a heart beat. Absolutely the best gluten free experience so far.
Very happy with the experience. There is a up charge of $2 for gluten free; but with that you get a pizza that you choose the toppings from their gf menu, gluten free pasta (limited sauces), and salad bar. They cook the pasta in a separate water bath, and they use a good quality pasta (Schlar multigrain gf penne) - but it was overcooked (my only real complaint). You can take your pizza leftovers home. They appeared to take gf seriously with employees washing hands prior to preparing food and using separate areas for preparation. I will come back.
Love that they have gluten-free options! They are often very accommodating and friendly. The pasta is great, and the pizza is ok. The fact that it makes it possible for me to eat out with my family and friends without added stress makes it absolutely at the top of my list!!!
Normally a buffet-style pizza locale, for a nominal charge, they offer gluten free pizza. However, this charge gets you a large GF pizza all to yourself, and the even let you take it home. They also have gluten free pasta, sauces, and offer a salad bar. I believe they also offer take out.
I only ate here once. I got terribly ill from cross contamination. I had both pizza and pasta so I'm not sure which it was that made me sick. Frankly though the pizza was awful. The texture of the crust was like sand in play-doh and I'm just not willing to risk my health again to see if the problem was the pasta. Even though it is cheap beyond compare, I wouldn't eat that pizza again if someone paid me it was so awful.
We decided to try Pizza Pie Café while on a little stop-over in Logan, based on this app. and reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. Ever since I found out I can't have gluten, I don't get too excited about going to new restaurants because I never know how much the staff is familiar with GF. Upon entering, we were greeted by the most friendly, up-beat manager, Oliver. He explained how the restaurant works (for non-GFers, they just pay and use the pizza, pasta, and salad bars, and for GFers, they pay $2 more and can get an entire GF pizza and a serving of GF pasta, plus the endless salad bar). He had a lot of knowledge about gluten, and knew which pizza toppings I could not have, even suggesting alternatives. I ended up getting 1/2 FIREFIGHTER pizza and 1/2 make-your-own. I was still skeptical. We headed to the pasta station, and my family got their food. We headed to the pizza station (which was pretty impressive with loads of regular and dessert pizzas) and my family got their food. We headed to the salad bar, where we all got our food. ALL their dressings are GF, according to the manager. Their Italian and poppyseed dressings were a bit too gooey, but the ranch was really yummy. I used ranch and some balsamic vinegar. I really liked that they had spinach for a green leafy option. Upon sitting down, my pizza was brought to me after about 5 minutes. It was hot, delicious, and a very thin crust. YUMMY. I enjoyed that pizza! I had to wait for quite a while for my pasta, which the manager cooked personally, and was very apologetic at how long it took. I got the sauce on the side (half pesto - YUM, and half marinara - YUM). The pasta wasn't quite cooked and could have probably used another minute or two, but I appreciated the effort. Also, with all the pizza I ate, I really wasn't interested in pasta. Overall, a great deal for the money, and I had NO REACTION to anything, which I consider a huge success. Will be trying out the Midvale location here, shortly, and will post my review on that as well. Obviously cross-contamination may be an issue if you are sensitive to such. My pizza was baked on a separate pan, and my pasta was cooked in it's own water in the back, not by the other noodles at the pasta station, so I believe the staff are doing their best to make sure no one gets sick.
