Review of Pizza Pie Cafe

The Logan Pizza Pie Cafe is outstanding - their salad bar is one of the best in town, the GF pasta is cooked properly most of the time, and the pizza itself is delicious (thin crust but still slightly doughy). This is the best value for any GF meal, especially pizza, that I have found anywhere. The ingredients and dishes are quality, and they are prepared well.

To get the GF meal, you pay $2 extra for a regular pizza buffet, which includes salad bar, pasta, and a pizza cooked-to-order (non-GF eaters simply pick slices off the buffet).

Since Pizza Pie Cafe serves mostly traditional (wheat-based) pizza and pasta, it's obviously possible for cross-contamination to occur. However, I have never had any issues after eating there. It helps that the staff all are knowledgeable about which ingredients contain gluten.

Overall I love this restaurant because it scratches my itch for good thin-crust pizza and pasta (plus a great salad).
