We had time so we sat down in the restaurant. Not everyone could explain the gf markers / items on the menu, but it seemed my server could and I had the chicken quesadilla on corn tortillas even though not clearly labeled (while other items were clearer). Chicken tacos also looked pretty good.
I felt fine, and the food was fresh, enjoyed the salsa guac and shredded greens to add to it. Came with 3 tortillas filled up. Those corn tortillas were oddly the best I had in CR. Not cheap (~$20) it’s still airport pricing but good to have before a long flight.
I was told by two staff that it is NOT a dedicated fryer, same fryer for fries and wheat breaded things (I pointed to both and asked if same fryer), but you can ask and maybe if your Spanish is better you’ll get better info.
Was told no restaurants in Liberia airport. Not true. This fast service, burger, pizza, wraps, chicken tender fries joint was perfect when you thought there was nothing to eat for next 6 hours. No GF buns, but burger Patty’s GF, dedicated French frier (!), option of GF quesadilla (didn’t order it); gelato ice cream and GF cookies. Food was good (for fast food) and a nice surprise.
Gluten free items on the menu. We had a salad. Can’t say what cross contact risk would be.
