I used to love this place, but the removed all the gf references from the menu. I was told “not to worry, the staff is knowledgeable”, but my “gf” meal came out with flour tortillas :(

I tried to reach out about the change in approach, hoping it was temporary, but I never heard back.

So sad. We used to go here all the time, and now it’s on the ‘no-go’ list for us :(

Absolutely love this place! Food is so delicious! Menu is very clearly marked for GF. Not sure about the other reviews on the chips, but I ate them and had no reaction or problem. They are also marked as GF. Great food and atmosphere! Highly recommend for Mexican!

Chips are not celiac friendly, one time the waiter made me fresh chips made from their corn tortillas in different oil and everything! I always get the fajitas and have never had a problem with them!

Menu is no longer marked. The hostess had no idea what gluten was. Our server said the tacos, fajitas, enchiladas and nachos are made with corn tortillas but she was unsure if there was anything else in them that might have gluten. My corn tortillas tasted old and were extremely tough. Be cautious if you come here

Great food, chicken fajitas were really good. The chips are in a separate fryer. Knowledgeable staff.

Tortilla chips are not cooked in a separate fryer. Celiac child had a taco salad and seemed ok but that was the only item she could eat.

I called ahead asking about gluten free options and the hostess let me know the server could point out what can be made gf on the menu. She mentioned the chips were not made in a shared fryer. When we were seated the server said the enchiladas, tacos, and fajitas could be made with corn tortillas. The server dis mention the salad flour tortilla were fried in the same chip oil so they would not be safe. I asked about the beans and rice that were served with them and he was unsure so the manager came out. The manager asked if it was celiac or an intolerance and I let him know I was celiac. He told me the beans were fine as they make them fresh everyday with vegetable oil and spices, but he was unsure of the rice because of the bullion they use. They could make me a white rice instead with corn. He also let me know he would inform the kitchen. I ended up ordering chicken fajitas, white rice, and beans. Everything was good and I had no reaction.

Their food never disappoints and we were extra grateful for their attention to my husbands gluten free needs. The server helped us find menu items that used corn rather than flour tortillas (enchiladas) and even came back after speaking to the kitchen to let us know one of the sauces was thickened with flour. He subbed a different salsa and brought us a sample to taste! Things are a little pricey but very worth it for that home cooked Mexican taste!
