Portland Pie was satisfactory for a short time when it first moved to Nashua, but no longer. My work ordered from there today. The gf pizza was flat, tasteless, & extremely rubbery where it wasn't rock hard.

Before I was gluten-free, I loved this place and it'd get 5 stars easily.
I hear that the gluten-free crust is excellent, but if you have Celiac disease, don't risk eating here.
Their menu specifically says that they cannot guarantee there is no cross-contamination, so people with Celiac disease should NOT eat here. I appreciate their honest assessment.

Had a gluten free crust calzone and a gluten free beer. the beer was good and so was the calzone... just trying to get used to the gluten free crusts and I'm not happy about them lol.
Portland Pie is a gem! I've been to the restaurant but what I mainly enjoy is that they sell their bread dough at Hannafords (GF/dairy-free) and I use this to make my own pizzas with daiya cheese! I just recently used their dough to make breadsticks to go with pasta and they were phenomenal!

Great tasting pizza but it made me sick!

Best gluten-free pie crust. Best gluten-free pizza I have had. I was glad they had the gluten free beer to go with it.
Best GF pizza crust I have found to date! Delicious! Also have several GF appetizer options: nachos, spinach dip, chicken wings. But it was their dessert that absolutely killed me- GF lemon cheesecake. TO DIE FOR!!
Awesome pizza love that they have daiya cheese as well. Only 3 stars because they have no other gluten free options and no menu. It would be nice if they got some gf pasta options or something besides pizza
Best gluten free pizza in the area. Very creative pies, too.

this place is great we live close too and they deliver. which is amazing. the only problem I have is that as with most gluten free places they only have one size and it's pretty small. good for just me maybe. but I've never been sick and it's always delicious
Yes
I love the different options they have for GF pizza. It's unfortunate that pizza is the only GF option but if that's what you're in the mood for it's great. We have been there twice. First time our server was not the greatest and I didn't enjoy my pizza but that was my own fault for not reading the description carefully. This last time out server was great and my pizza was delicious. We'll be going back for sure!
I have celiac and have always had a pleasant experience here. I am extremely sensitive and have never once gotten sick. The pizza is very good and a nice treat away from frozen pizza.
The previous review is completely inaccurate. I have Celiac and have had nothing but fantastic service at this resturant. I have also never run across a non GF cheese (besides blue cheese) at a place out. Almost every topping and pizza can be made GF. They even made me spinach artichoke dip that I could eat. I am very sesitive to contamination etc in resturants and I have NEVER had an issue here!
Yes
FYI- The cheese is NOT gf. I had an awful experience. I have celiac disease and I let them know when I got there. They assured me it was safe for me. I ordered the only gf option on the menu- a cheese pizza. After I ordered I had a gut feeling to check that the cheese was gf. They came back and said it was not. They said if I wanted something gf it would have to be a "cheese" pizza with vegan cheese. So I did. I was violently ill for 10 days after. Obviously it was not prepared in a gf kitchen. It was a waste of money, the food was nasty, There was only one "safe"- not actually safe- option, and I don't trust anything they say now. Unfortunately, my best friends's mother in law had her rehearsal dinner there to accommodate ME shortly after- not knowing my experience- because they told her it was gf and safe for me. I couldn't eat with everyone at the rehearsal dinner and I am extremely disgusted with the dishonesty that the Portland Pie Company has exhibited when it comes to my very sever autoimmune disease. I would prefer them just say "sorry it's not safe for you to eat here". Moral of the story: if you have celiac- don't bother. The end.
Portland Pie had the most amazing gluten free pizzas I have ever had. Their unique topping combinations are outstanding.
They make their own gluten free dough for pizzas and everything that goes into their ovens has its own tray.

Ordered a gluten free basil crust. It was NOT gluten free but instead the regular dough. Was told “oops, sorry.” Was sick within 2 hours. Not worth the risk.

Called to ask all the right questions (can items on the gf menu be prepared safely for a celiac). Was told there is a separate prep space and separate oven. Arrived and was told by a different server who also works in the kitchen that there is not a separate prep space and no separate oven. She said the kitchen staff would be careful but that cross contact could happen. We left without ordering. Really frustrating to be told a completely different story on the phone.
