Review of Portobello's

I had really high hopes for this restaurant. When I arrived they told me they did not have a separate gluten free menu, but the hostess (who has Celiac) went over the menu extensively and told me how they could modify each dish to my liking. I was shocked to hear that I could order French onion soup without the bread (normally the broth is unsafe). However, when my soup arrived, it had bread in it. Thankfully I checked before I started eating. The owner came over and apologized profusely and they took it off my bill but I still feel obligated to provide this review because it could have made me very ill.
