Our experience was absolutely wonderful and our server, Seth, was very helpful and answered all our questions with confidence. We will definitely be back on our next trip.
Glutard-tastic. It is good to be a Celiac with restaurants like Posana. From the gnocchi, to the sunchokes, kale salad, breadsticks, duck, pork belly, and take home chocolate Grenache cake, it was worth every bite (and the belly bulge). highly recommend splitting all plates for more taste. Amazing and will return!
It is very rare I can go into a restaurant and eat anything on the menu. Not only that but I was able to try share meals with others. Everything was delicious!
Oh my God talk about amazing! This restaurant is a very upscale restaurant that does require reservation or you can free sit at the bar. It is extremely modern and hip and offers a wide variety of food. The best part is everything on the menu is gluten-free it is a completely gluten-free restaurant. None of the food tasted gluten-free you would not have known had you not been told. It is definitely chef-inspired and prepared with Precision. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and the bread was some of the best I have ever tasted. They also make your own homemade sodas there for you fresh. Love it ,it's a gotta try!
Everything GF except a couple local beers. Bottled GF beer from Belgium that was great. Delicious food. Fantastic staff and great outdoor seating. Highly recommend. I'll be coming back next time I'm in Asheville.
Gluten free kitchen. No risk of cross contamination. Great food... try the kale salad and cinnamon rolls (brunch).
They got a lot of things wrong on our order and food was super inconsistent, but what came out good was VERY good, and it was very relaxing not to worry!
Everything is exceptional here, whether you are celiac or not! The fried chicken with biscuits and gravy was amazing!! They have a variety of pastries each day and very reasonably priced.
Amazing restaurant. Whole place is GF!!!!!! Never had a meal here that deserved less than 5 stars and the service is top notch.
everything was gluten free. amazing food and service.
I would give this a million stars if I could!! Started the night in this completely gf restaurant (minus a few local brews on tap) with the breadsticks. Moved onto the NY Strip and finished the night with the macaroon cheesecake. It. Was. Amazing. My husband (who is not gf) loved the snapper. Great food. Great staff. Great all around! If you are in Asheville, go!
Excellent! GF Bloody Mary mix. Biscuits. Fried chicken. Gravy.
Wonderful. We had dinner there. We will definitely go back.
Excellent fine dining. 100% GF!!! $$$.
Excellent... went for dinner with our family... everything on the menu is gluten free! And delicious!
Owners wife has celiac. Menu is 100% GF. Food is fabulous. Service great as well. If you are in Asheville, it is a must.
One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Fried Chicken sandwich was off the charts. A must for GFers!
Had a fantastic dining experience. Servers very knowledgeable and food was outstanding.
The best meal I've had since diagnosis! Partly because the food was absolutely delicious and wonderfully presented, and partly because I could relax and enjoy the meal with no worries about getting sick. The staff was kind and the environment was fun. A must for Celiacs!
Ate here with my son who has celiac without any difficulty at all. Food was delicious and he did not have any reactions.
My husband and I have come to Asheville that past two years for our anniversary. We eat at Posano at least twice while here! I have celiac and am highly sensitive. The food is unbelievable, the atmosphere is beautiful and warm, and the service is exceptional. It never disappoints!
We travel a lot, and my wife has a serious gluten allergy as well as other allergies. By far, this is the best restaurant we have ever been to. We've been four times. The chef who owns it has a wife with celiac. The whole restaurant is dedicated gluten free. Our experience: - No allergic reaction. - The food is fabulous! - The service is superior to most places. Brit and Patrick are our favorites. - Nice environment. We highly recommend and plan to come back again.
I ate here twice in a week because the meal was so delicious! I got unbelievably good fettuccini, bread sticks and bread pudding! I highly recommend it! It's a dedicated gf facility. What a delight to have so much amazing options!
My favorite restaurant. Great menu and food is absolutely wonderful!
Can I give 10 stars? All GF All fabulous! A must eat GF with so much flavor!!!
Have eaten here twice best gluten free restaurant I have ever eaten at F you are in the Asheville Area you must go reservations would be a good idea
absolutely amazing food in a vibrant atmosphere. I had steak and fried green tomatoes. I honestly could have made a meal of those tomatoes, they were so good. but then I would have missed out on my steak, which was sublime.
An all-GF restaurant with a seasonal menu. Stylish atmosphere that isn't stuffy. Bartenders also know what they're doing. Every meal I've had there has been amazing. I've had several friends (who aren't gluten-allergic) go in thinking that the food is going to be lacking somehow because it's all GF, and they come out raving that it's one of the best meals they've had in Asheville. Make reservations if you plan on going for dinner. Waits can be long if you just pop in off the street.
Everything is GF!!! So wonderful to go here and be able to eat anything and everything on the menu! Food is amazing! Dishes were artfully presented and service was impeccable! We will be back!
First time my daughter with celiac disease has eaten fried chicken, biscuits, & donuts since her diagnosis 3-years ago. "Heavenly" she said and asked to visit again next year (we live in San Diego). One of the few meals that have been delicious & safe since her diagnosis without the worry of cc!
so relaxing to able to choose anything on the menu. gluten free donuts amazing
This is my favorite restaurant!!! I love brunch!!
Absolutely amazing and so wonderful for celiacs! Must eat!
Delicious and very nice atmosphere. I had trout with cheddar grits and enjoyed every bite!
Amazing! It was so nice and refreshing to be able to order whatever I wanted without asking or tweeting or worrying about cc! We can't wait to come back!! Ps the "carrot cake" is a must!
Was a delight to come and try this place over thanksgiving weekend. After reading reviews on here for places around Ashville to go, I decided this was a must stop. And I wasnt disapointed. Cute little shop with a lovely atmosphere and decore. The food was fantastic. We were there for Sunday Brunch and the Waffle with chocolate butter and brittle was amazing. Just wish it were a little closer to Raleigh, I would go here all the time.
This place is amazing! The owner's wife has celiac, so he has created a completely gluten free kitchen and menu. And the food is amazing. We went for dinner and were so impressed that we came back for brunch the next day. Four years after my own celiac diagnosis, having eaten all over the USA and Europe, this is the best gluten free restaurant I have found. Absolutely outstanding. Outstanding GF Quiche with light, flaky pastry. Outstanding fried chicken and gravy. Outstanding scones. Outstanding roasted carrots, cauliflower, fingerling potatoes and chicken.
Holy moly yes go! Entire GF kitchen. Worth every penny! Menu constantly changing since food is locally sourced. We enjoyed every course. I wish I lived in Asheville so I could eat here regularly.
This is my favorite place and we drive a couple of hours to eat there. Everything is gluten free!!! The food is awesome and I really appreciate how they make everything from scratch.
I will drive 500 miles to eat here! Best food and as a Celiac, I felt like a normal person! You can eat anything on the menu!!
Absolutely amazing food! And, the entire menu is gluten free! Donut holes, French toast, all breads and fried items galore...plus healthy options, too! So good, and reasonably priced for farm-to-table! My husband and I both enjoyed our meal & considered it to be one of our best GF dining experiences!
Absolutely amazing! I am a chef and enjoy fine dining and well prepared, beautifully presented foods. Both my husband (not GF) and I had the hardest time deciding what to eat because everything sounded amazing. It is truly a gem- a high end, farm to table restaurant that just happens to be gluten free. I highly recommend you check this restaurant out if you are looking for a wonderful meal in a gorgeous downtown, foodie city!
Absolutely wonderful to have a full service dedicated upscale GF dining experience. Our 3rd time there. My non celiac family loves it as well. The lobster mac and cheese is to die for. Wish we lived closer!
Felt overwhelmed with joy at having a place where I could order anything on the menu! Amazing selection and incredible desserts! Highly recommend!! Don't pass up if you are in the area! Oh we are going back for the weekend brunch! Made reservation before we left tonight!
We went here for brunch and it was fantastic! Everything is gluten free. French toast, grits, and breakfast potatoes were delicious! My husband loved the cardamom latte with GF biscotti. We also had donut holes to go which were amazing. Gluten free or not, everything is good here!
100% gf kitchen. The food was delicious, but a little pricey and the portions were on the smaller side.
We love Posana and eat there as often as we can. Delicious local food! Great prices especially considering the quality and the ease of mind--no cross contamination worries at all as they're completely gluten free. Awesome kale salad. Desserts to die for! Frequently changing menu albeit some keepers. Executive chef Peter is a gem!!
Amazing gluten free food!
An amazing experience. Literally everything is gluten free. Pricey but the food and service is amazing and worth it for a special occasion. I had striped bass and my boyfriend had the lamb. Rosemary breadsticks are fantastic and the chocolate cake is to die for (just in the figure of speech sense- not in the gluten reaction literal sense)
While it was pretty special to see a completely gluten free menu, we went there for dinner and the food itself was disappointing. The entrée was so small (& over priced) that I was still hungry afterwards. We had a $100 gift card and it was spent after 2 entrées, 2 (small and mostly ice) drinks, and 1 dessert. The chocolate cake was heavenly; the best part of the meal. Would I eat dinner there again? Probably not. Maybe brunch would be better…
