totally didn’t expect this place to be as good as they were about gluten free. i told my server my situation and he explained that their sandwiches can be made with gluten free rolls and they’re made on a separate press and wrapped in tinfoil. he was also transparent and said i can’t eat the fries since they’re made in the same oil as other things, which i greatly appreciated. when my group’s food came out, he gave me mine first and said “gluten free” while putting it down. delicious sandwich and awesome, knowledgeable staff
So the separate fryer for GF foods or fries is Non Existent here(Primary Reason we came here). They do have GF bread and options(tortilla chips are not corn). No GF beer but they do have Ciders(bootle, can and tap- I’d be careful with Tap due to cross contaminated beer lines, not cleaning the lines). The service was GREAT (for a slow Monday afternoon, never been here before either). Hummus appetizer was good, I got the New Yorker which was good and my Girlfriend ordered the Hawaiian burger on GF bun(she’s GF, not me). I def recommend the Pineapple Sesame Sriracha sauce on anything!!
All in all it was good! I’ll come back for another visit when I’m in the neighborhood.
Not celiac friendly -
No gluten free menu right off the bat. Gluten free bread is offered. Depending on if your server is educated and interested in keeping things safe for celiacs, it’s not safe. Our server was nice but my salad was delivered to me with a big piece of bread propped up on the side of it. I bet this place is delicious if you don’t have to worry about gluten
Have ordered from here many times. Never gotten sick.
