Do not eat here!! I really wish I'd seen the other lady's review about the same exact issue, violently ill from being served gluten pancakes! absolutely disgraceful for any allergy sufferers or people on restricted diets, total disregard and negligence on cross contamination, despite assurance from staff and advertising gluten free on their menu. I am celiac and I was glutened from this place on my last day in Miami, hours before having to get on a plane home, sick from eating here. Despite advertising gluten free and FIVE separate staff members assuring me they would be able to make my gluten free breakfast not only free of cross contamination, but dairy free as well (I am intolerant to dairy too), after taking a bite, something didn't seem right. I knew this wasn't gluten free, and my non-gf boyfriend confirmed it by tasting. Finally after speaking to a SIXTH staff member, who was a manager, she apologized and assured me the breakfast was actually not prepared dairy free . However, that wasn't the worst of it: I knew that was not a gluten free pancake when I took a bite of it, and the worst was yet to come, as I spent the next 20 minutes immediately after leaving the restaurant violently vomiting and dry heaving - there is no question I was glutened. First clue, (which I should have listened to and not touched the food), but I DID question staff about before trying them, is that they did not look anything like the 'buckwheat' gluten free pancakes I ordered off their menu (they were a pale light color, buckwheat is brown!!). I spent the next month afflicted from this cross contamination experience with digestion issues. Totally unsafe for anyone with dietary allergies. also they were hard to get a hold of when we were trying to ascertain if we were going here for breakfast on our last day anyway. bad news
Fantastic gluten free breakfast! They have a buffet that is pricey ($40 per person) but worth it. The buffet includes GF pancakes (made separately in the back), GF muffin (packaged separately) and GF toasted (toasted in the back as well/separate from everything else). Yummy charcuterie and cheese plate, omelette bar, and a ton of fruit. They even have a bagel station with salmon, capers, other toppings that I used to make fancy GF toast. Great service, great view from the outdoor patio, just all around a great experience!
I have celiac disease and I ordered the gluten free pancakes. A few hours later I was violently throwing up. They must have given me the gluten pancakes because that was all I had eaten that day so it had to have been the pancakes. All the reviews seemed good but I do not recommend eating here. It could’ve been an honest mistake but I got very sick from it. DO NOT GO HERE!!
They were very helpful with gluten free choices! Delicious pancakes, bagel, and toast. Chicken sausage was gluten free too 🥳
Loved this place. Many GF options including pancakes, bagels, muffins, etc in addition to all the other typical breakfast foods. Located inside Loews Hotel on Miami Beach. Resort atmosphere, great food quality. Will definitely be back.
First time I’ve been able to eat pancakes since finding out I have celiac and lactose intolerance. The waiter told me they have a completely separate area for gluten free items and was very knowledgeable. The pancakes were great and my non celiac boyfriend enjoyed his regular pancakes as well!
Best beagles and pancake we ever get and that on top for our celiac son gluten free Thank you ! We 100% will come back tomorrow
Great for breakfast, staff very helpful, most items can be adapted. GF pancakes really good
We had the breakfast buffet for several mornings. They had gf muffins and pancakes. it was a great buffet.
