The food was very good. My steak dinner arrived as ordered (2nd time around, see *). Make sure you tell them to highlight the order as gf and to tell the manager. The owner is very knowledgable. They have a protocol but with new employees it might get overlooked. * We arrived for dinner at the same time that one of Troy University’s fraternities were having dinner. I explained to my waitress that we found the restaurant on my gluten free app and I made all of the introductions that go with celiac. I also told her that I saw that the owner or manager was familiar with gluten and to make sure the cook knew. My meal arrived with a beautiful slice of buttered toast on top. The waitress was very apologetic and sent it back. I fully expected the plate to arrive again five minutes later with simply the toast removed. It did not. It arrived about 30 min later without the toast a totally new plate. Meanwhile the owner came over and apologized offering to pay for the meal and explained that the new waitress & cook didn’t know the protocol and stated that was his fault. He explained the process and how they handled the meal w/sides. They made everything right and I did not get sick.

Found this place on here, hole in the wall, but the proprietor knows his GF stuff! And he knows how to cook. Not fancy at all, so don’t expect high end steak house! Just great safe food.

We went to eat here the day before our daughter-in-law graduated from Troy. My family and I had a wonderful experience here. As mentioned by many other reviews the owner has several celiacs in the family and knows a lot about how to keep you safe. I had the hamburger and steak fries and had no issues. The food was delicious so we went back at the request of my daughter-in-law for lunch after graduation the next day. There were other choices in town but we just loved the personal attention that we got here from people of the celiac community. I highly recommend eating here.

Went to eat here with my husband based on recommendations but their fries are in a shared fryer and the woman taking our order seemed noticeably unaware of what celiac was and being gluten free. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone traveling! Not sure what the difference is between the other reviews and now.

Great service like everyone said and great good, his wife and daughter are celiac so even condiments and meats are taken from fresh packaging. Had Gf burger, was good but he said anything grilled and most sides can be gluten free (obviously not some breaded fries stuff but they have a dedicated fryer).

Stopped here while traveling to the beach after reading other positive reviews. The server double checked with the owner to see what was safe for our toddler to have. She got the steak tips and French fries and she liked it and had zero negative reactions. Will likely be back during our trips to FL.

Not a big sign but worth finding. Many choices and staff knowledgeable. Food good and no issues. Gassed up out front when done.
This place is very gluten-free friendly and very friendly staff. My order was taken by the owner who said his daughter has Celiac and he explained all the precautions they take to insure no contamination with gluten happens. The food was excellent and I will definitely be coming back more often!

Super Awesome! So glad we came here. Robbie (owner and cook) came out to talk to us. I told him my son had Celiac and he he said he completely understands because his daughter has Celiac. He was supper helpful and the staff was very kind and welcoming. They have a separate pot if oil on the stove they use to do french fries GF and take special care to make items GF. They try to keep GF buns on hand. My son had a cheeseburger and he said it was his FAVORITE burger he had ever had. I had the Kaley Tater IT WAS AMAZING!!! Don't let the gas station location throw ya off, we will definitely be back before we leave Troy.
